Is Microsoft Azure Full?

Last month many Microsoft Azure customers were reporting capacity issues and difficulties in creating resources and the associated reliability problems. According to ‘Down Detector’ most of these troubles were associated with their Virtual Machines reporting over 60% of the reported problems*.

Not surprisingly there was surge in Windows Virtual Desktop last month with the current crisis, however as more companies move to Azure as their preferred Public Cloud of choice, it is also worth remembering that most of the flexibility and scalability benefits of Cloud can be gained from other types of cloud and an organisations multi-cloud strategy should include Software as a Service, private cloud and public cloud as part of their Hybrid solution rather than relying solely on a single Public Cloud solution.
