Here is your summer news and announcements from our Adoption & Community practice at Microsoft. We are moving forward with many initiatives, new features and innovations that we hope will be meaningful to you individually and for your business. Let's hop into what's happening!

Localization and performance upgrade for adoption.microsoft.com

We are thrilled to announce that we've made a major upgrade to our home for business users and change champions, adoption.microsoft.com. The site is now available in 10 languages. New infrastructure also measurably improves the performance of the site with our new GitHub to Azure deployment model. We've added new content for Dynamics 365, SharePoint Syntex, Microsoft Viva and streamlined our navigation. We took this opportunity to merge together resource pages housed on the Microsoft Tech Community continuing to streamline the location of this adoption content. This upgrade is a major step forward that will allow us to properly integrate with core product pages, support sites and documentation.

We are also converting our popular Day in the Life training handouts to webpages that can be localized by our engine, responding to a popular piece of feedback from our audience. Additional new features include:

• Share page to Teams
• Feedback form direct to site engineering
• Expanded resources including a Podcasts & Shows listing, Case Studies and Demos
• Community menu for quick links to major communities
• Improved filtering and metadata

Microsoft Global Community Initiative

In April, 2022 we launched this initiative to expand our support of Microsoft technical and professional communities around the world. Through the creation of a global Microsoft Community Advisory Board and structuring our internal resources with more clarity we are in a position to support the goals of the community. Our motto, "By and for Community - Powered by Microsoft" details our commitment to ensure that Microsoft resources are being used in helpful ways as the community navigates hybrid and in person events once again.

To that end we are happy to note that we received over 130 applications for our open Community Advisory Board seats and have our very first Microsoft Community Day coming up in Mexico City on October 29th. This is the first of many events globally that will bring the community together to share, learn and enjoy all our ecosystem has to offer. Check out the new Coffee in the Cloud video showing a simple way of combining the new Chat with Self feature with Microsoft Loop to provide you a fast way of keep track of those top of mind thoughts as you go through your day.
