The Microlearning Meetup Newsletter #10
Where do I start with microlearning?
I get asked this question quite a bit, and it's an interesting one: Where do I start? Of all the topics you could create microlearning on, what would the first video, infographic, podcast, TikTok be about? If you're not sure, then think about the questions people often ask about a particular topic, are there questions that just get asked over and over again? Are there places in a particular process where people often get stuck? Are there areas where the business wants to upskill or future-skill its employees, and microlearning might enhance that learning? Are there topics that senior leaders are asking about? Are there topics on the horizon that microlearning could create a bit of excitement or expectation around? Are there behaviour changes needed in specific areas where microlearning could support those changes? These are just a few examples of how to think about where to begin your microlearning journey. Once you've decided on a topic, you might then think about the format, but that's for next time...
