Microchip’s 360° Approach to Sustainability

Microchip is pleased to release its 2023 Sustainability Report to provide our global workforce, our customers and other stakeholders with a transparent look into our environmental and social impact programs.

Join us in this issue of the Microchip Insider LinkedIn Newsletter as we highlight our sustainability efforts and explore how our diverse product portfolio is shaping a more eco-friendly future.

Aligning our Environmental Social Governance (ESG) initiatives with our business objectives, we aim to drive economic growth while preserving natural resources and paving the way for a sustainable future. In the report, we outline how we achieve this through our 360° Approach to Sustainability across five tenets: Our Company, Our Planet, Our Supply Chain, Our Products and Our People. ?

Beginning with a message from our CEO, @Ganesh Moorthy , the report details the progress we are making with our products that meet the evolving needs of our customers while also adhering to stringent sustainability standards.

The results of our initiatives are achieving real change as we work toward mid-term and long-term goals, detailed in full in our report. In 2023, our efforts were recognized with numerous social and environmental awards, including being named by @Newsweek among America’s Most Responsible Companies and @Forbes as one of the World’s Best Employers of 2023.

Most recently, we earned the distinction of #6 in Forbes’ second annual Net Zero Leaders List . This recognition identifies companies making the largest strides in offsetting their greenhouse gas emissions by eliminating or compensating for their own pollution and that of their suppliers and customers. We are honored to be included in this list.
