The surge in electrification across various sectors is driving the need to protect high-voltage/high-power DC and AC circuits and loads. High-voltage relays and fuses, widely used to protect circuits in a variety of applications, are prevalent not only in E-Mobility but also in higher current sustainability, industrial, transportation and aviation applications. Solid-state circuit breakers or E-Fuses (electronic fuses) are becoming the preferred choice over mechanical solutions due to their fast response times, adaptability, resettable nature and lack of moving parts that could wear out or cause arcing.
