Michael Oana RPS Two Minute Timeout
Thanks for your business and trust over the past year. Although the financial SEAS have been calm as of late, the weather can change quickly. Since the election, the markets have rebounded and the US economy has grown at a healthy speed.
As we have talked about in our Toucan 180 Portfolio Reviews, it will be the year of the TOUCAN and things may continue to improve, but rest assured, we are always on the look out for when the markets hit an ICEBERG.
We have strategies to help guide us through the Economic waves and turbulence so you can sleep well at night.
As the Oana's returned from a once in a life time bucket list family cruise on the Oasis Of the SEAS, I thought that the best way to cover this Toucan Talk was to relate it to what I witnessed on the SEAS.
S = Strategy. Royal Caribbean has a strategy to ensure that their guests have a fun time and they have left no rock unturned. To achieve Retirement Planning Success, you need to have a chart, a map and a plan to help reach your goals.
E = Expectations. Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the SEAS knows that the boat may hit some choppy water from time to time but overall, the ship is off the charts great and they know how to show their guests a great time. As an investor, you may experience some dips in the market but overall and over the long term, investors tend to be rewarded for those waves and bumps.
A = Asset Allocation. Royal Caribbean doesn't just have one boat in their fleet and they don't sail to just one port, instead they have a mix of brands and ships sailing all over the world. With your retirement portfolio, we diversify your assets in different investments so it is not all in one place.
S = Savings. Royal Caribbean cruises are a great value but they are not inexpensive. When you start thinking about your future retirement, you will have some extra time since you will be freed from the bond of work, please start saving early and often so you can live a great long retirement.
A special thanks to the Royal Caribbean team, from our waiter, Singh, to our room steward, Yo and our super off the charts Jamaica Island Guide, Dr. Fun. We had a great sail from Port Canaveral to Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel.
Also, as I saw on-board, the Captain must steer the ship but if he has a great team, the work becomes fun. While I was away, my crew stepped up to help steer the firm. Tonya, Ben, Andi, Kirk, and Will did a great job while I was at SEA.
PS, If you have a friend that would benefit by this piece, please feel free to forward it to them and please let us know if they would be interested in a Strategic Second Opinion.
Wishing You Fair Winds and Calm Seas,
