?? ??????????’?? ??????????: I'm answering the question I get asked every week: "Michael, what should I write about?" And this week, I'm covering it all.

?? ???????? ???????????? ?????????????? ?????? ?????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????????This week, we'll look at these five main areas:
● Client-focused content. The main driver of everything you should be writing about on LinkedIn.
● Authority-building content, so you're seen as the expert.
● Network building content ideas to generate goodwill and expand your team.
● Useful resources to save you time. (it's so much easier when you know where to look.)
● Promotional posts that persuade prospective clients to use your service.
?? ?????? ???? ?????? ??????Stop posting articles that link back to a website. It's virtually a waste of time. (Post them directly on LinkedIn using the article section). And even worse, stop posting articles and then never replying to comments. One law firm on here posts multiple articles daily and never replies to comments. How do I know? I've commented on their articles over 300 times without a reply.
Here we go.....
?? ????????????-?????????????? ???????????????? ???????? ??????????
● Advice on the most common legal problems you encounter (Obvious, yet very few lawyers do it!)
● How your prospective client can make/save time & money.
● Explain the complex legal matters your clients always find confusing.
● Discuss a new area of law that could impact your prospective clients.
● Explain how you can help businesses avoid legal problems such as health and safety compliance or employment matters.
● People don't know what you do for 8-10 hours each day. Explain why you do it and why it needs to be done for your clients.
● Discuss the pros and cons regarding solving legal issues in court.
?? ?????? ????????????
Just with those 7 topics, by writing about the same topic every month with a slight twist, you have 84 potential posts per year! (You must keep repeating yourself.)

?? ???????? ????'???? ?????????????? ???? ??????!Part 1/5 was about writing client-focused LinkedIn posts. (The main driver of all your LinkedIn content.) Now, we move on to another critical element that'll make you stand out in a 'beige' legal market.
?? ???????????? '?????? ????????????' ???? ?????????????? ??????????????????-???????????????? ??????????????????????????????:
● Mini case studies discussing the problems you tackled and your solutions.
● Post long-form content in the articles section. (Not many people will read it, but it's on 'the shelf' when people need the information, plus fleshing out your LinkedIn account adds weight to your expertise.)
● Talk about the procedure of using your service, from being instructed, to achieving the result for your client. (Very few people know how you get from A to B during the legal process.)
● Discuss your views on using AI in the legal services industry.
● Voice your opinion regarding a change in the law.
●Talk about the changes you foresee will happen in your area of law (Yes, educated guesses. Don't sit on the fence – it's not legal advice.)
● Give your take on a legal matter in the news (Even if it's not your area of expertise.)
?? ????????????, ????????????, ?????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???????????? ?????????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ????????.....
Get your big potato head on film. Each piece of content can be repurposed as short videos. You can break elements of a post into numerous video posts. Repurposing your old content makes it quicker and cheaper (if you are getting your posts written) and benefits you as your prospective clients get to know you.Natalie Knight-Wickens is an excellent example of a lawyer who posts short video content: https://shorturl.at/pu078

It's not Google ads! LinkedIn is a social platform. If you're not proactive, it won't work for you. Make sure you like and comment every day on people's content. It pays off.
?? ???????? ???? ??????????.....A is a copywriter and competitor. Over the years, I have commented on A's posts numerous times. A has liked or commented on my posts approximately NEVER. I suspect they are concerned because we are competitors.I've generated work by commenting on A's posts. A lawyer had seen my comment. They looked at my account and concluded that I was precisely what they were looking for to write their legal content. (A is a great copywriter but not a specialist legal copywriter.)

?? Post writing tips
● Write in a conversational tone using contractions
● Keep the posts short (I don't; however, I'm selling a writing service)
● Assume your reader has zero knowledge; keep your posts simple
● Don't write a post that's nothing more than a link to a website article (It's a waste of time)
● Write a series of posts over a week, then put them together and post them as an article on LinkedIn's article section.
● Write about legal stuff in the news, even if it's not your expertise.
● Write short paragraphs rather than big blocks of text.
?? Random thought: Sometimes you've just got to get on with things. Not all your posts can be jewels. Don't let that stop you from publishing your post. Halfway through this post, I realised it was a bit of a stinker. It happens.....
?? Hidden tip of the day that'll help you get found: There is a skills section on your LinkedIn account. It was limited to 50 skills. It's now 100. Make sure you use all 100. It'll help your account get found on organic searches.

?? "I am such a bighead" - AKA: promotional posts
???????? ?????????? ??????????????:
● Discussing the legal services you provide (Not just bullet points. Go deep about who you help and how!)
● Highlight your law firm reviews and testimonials (Tell your reader what you did for the happy client. Don't just post the review. That's laziness.)
● Write about things you do in the community. (We all remember the senior partner holding the giant cheque for charity in the local paper.)
●Discuss how you successfully approached a complicated case with a 'humble brag'.
●Write about a new staff member and what they're bringing to the firm (The star of EVERY law firm is a friendly receptionist who 'sells' the firm to prospective and new clients.)
