Miami Music Project fundraises for new Homestead Chapter during 2024 Give Miami Day

Miami Music Project donor to match 100% of new and increased donations

Miami, FL - November 14, 2024. Miami Music Project?is proud to announce its participation in the highly anticipated 2024 Give Miami Day. For Miami Music Project, this means setting the bar higher. Thanks to a Miami Music Project donor's generosity, every new and increased donation will be matched.

"We’re very excited about participating in Give Miami Day this year,” said President and CEO Anna Klimala . “This is the first year we’ve achieved regional social impact by opening our Homestead Chapter in the southernmost Miami-Dade. We hope this is the start of many personal and corporate alliances to open pathways to opportunities for children throughout Miami-Dade.”

Miami Music Project’s extraordinary 16-year journey of transforming the lives of aspiring musicians and fostering a deep love for music stands as a testament to its steadfast commitment to the community. By participating in Give Miami Day, the organization seeks to expand its mission's life-changing force and social impact, creating new opportunities for even more young learners, such as Kasey, a 13-year-old violin student from our Miami Gardens Chapter. In the words of his mother, Lakeria Clarke:?

“Kasey’s life journey began five years ago with Miami Music Project. Over the years, I’ve seen my son transform into a dedicated, self-motivated musician. Miami Music Project has been an inspiration to Kasey. He’s grown into a musician eager to improve. Participating in the program has genuinely positioned and boosted Kasey's?confidence, morals, and values and enhanced his social skills. Miami Music Project has become his home away from home. As a proud parent, I can conclude that I’m blessed to have my child involved in a program that has positively impacted his life thus far. Thank you, Miami Music Project, and those who support this program financially and allow it to be free.”
