MIAMI 6060
The kids are back in school. Our schedules are returning to normal; somewhat. Parents get no days off, in any season. This somewhat normalizes things. The challenge of bringing the family, to multiple places during each day; calms. At least during normal school hours; I mean banking hours. Lol.
I have set my sights on my next market, to develop. Miami, Florida, USA. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. There are 60 venues here for me to build with. They are not so close to each other, and because this is a media/ press tour, with the artistic and the gifted. It's perfect. These will be a test run for the foundation of the world wide tour. I have to practice and rehearse each and every day. How do I prospect these potential venues? Here. I'll show you. This may help you.
Once you finalize your research, and select your market. The following step it the campaign. Shake hands, hug old ladies and kiss babies; everywhere you go. Content creation 101. Bring you audience into the entire process. Start with an email. Add graphics and provide a full power point presentation. Include a visual component like a full video; complimentary. Send physical fliers and business cards; post cards etc. Then add in my pod cast; where we are discussing the entire situation. Make the final phone call; before scheduling time to attend in person.
You do not have to meet with ownership or management at first. A first contact can be like the first kiss. Maybe it can be a supervisor, or a head of department. Then as a force multiplier, you can interview some of the staff, while you assist in promotion and marketing for the business. I am doing this for free.
My goal is to establish a friendship, before any business partnership. My approach is more; "what can I do for you"? Never, "this is what I need" etc.
The more I can do this. The more that my network grows. After we reach an agreement; I build a full network for the business. All content created is separated; for the business. I can stay in touch, long after my concert. The ownership and management, are inclined to funnel all of their content to both, their network, and our extension. Each business in our system, is supportive of all others on it. We are like a secret, private, live music entertainment club. We eliminate any competition elements.
We can perform at venue A on a Monday. And still provide live music at venue B on Tuesday. As the weeks pass by, and eventually months; we all work together. At times we can have two venues in the same calendar date. One earlier. One during the evening. No need to compete. Each zone will have its own; multiple outlets.
As time passes. The network grows, with mutual support, from us, and our business partners. The aim is to welcome Web 3; together. We are building the bridge to the digital only model; but still supporting live events.
I have to rehearse each concert, based on what that particular venue needs. Let's use a style of music called "Bachata". In a venue where, this is their go to sound, on Thursdays. "Latin nights" for example. I would have to build a live performance, that is heavy in this sound. I may have Merenge, Mambo, Reggaetton and Dembow. But my closers, have to be all Bachata.
The clients at that place, are expecting that sound. I can warm them up, with a variety; just like a DJ. But, I have to close with the Bachata concert. If the venue played more Salsa. I would have to now tailor the event, to have their dominant sound as my closer. Meaning, Salsa; for our second example.
The ownership is happy because they now have a new live event in their normal rotation. The clients are happy to have a new, fun and exciting element as part of that night. When the concert is over. The normal DJ's that spin; will be back on the floor. From there it is business as usual.
The business gets new digital marketing. We are approaching it as a digital marketing company, based on technology; we just happen to own the music catalog and the talent. I just happen to own the entire company; therefore I am able to close all of my own deals.
The venue gets new, unreleased live music. The fans get a taste of what is to come. We all win. Now. As a bonus. As the prices rise, in the future; I would still give them competitive pricing because they are franchise owners, in my brand.
If a venue started paying out $7,500.00 per 2 hour show. And prices rise to $25,000.00 per hour. I can still honor the pricing of $10,000.00 instead. Creating an opportunity to generate additional income. The lower overhead is based on the lower pricing. A new business could not secure that. As the network grows, and demand increases; naturally prices rise to meet those variables.

Or your small business. It can be your franchise. It does not matter at all. Local businesses, in that market are also able to bring their food trucks, end sales tables, booths etc. They are able to also share commercial space in the venue. We have designated VIP tables; at lowered prices for these small businesses. This introduces them to our society, and provides a new opportunity to support the local community. The people who go out frequently, have more of a younger mind set. Not correlated to their age.
This type of marketing opens up so many doors. There is no telling what type of person enjoys the arts. Or live music for that matter.
Your new clients can be lawyers, doctors or engineers. They can be architects as much as small business owners. We have clients that are in construction, and we have clients that own landscaping companies. There are ladies that are models, as much as there are actresses. This is Miami. Bring your own swagger.
This style of marketing goes beyond, just going out to college towns. Universities are packed with promoters. We are more trendsetters. We can do a night club today. A corporate event tomorrow. Followed by a lounge, a wedding and a Quince Anera; Sweet Sixteen.
In other words. We can perform at a Church or a High School. Where ever there is business. We are there. Also, consider all music festivals etc. We may not ever get booked for those events. But, we can pick up a new venture or two; just because so many artists may be booked for that.
There are opportunities, in every place that I look. We all have to be creative. Sometimes, we ourselves have to think outside of the known realms. We are NFT based. I cannot afford to view anything the same. We cannot afford to do the same things, that were available to us before.
In a situation where I am made to feel; left out of a music festival. I create an opportunity to perform in a marquee location; even only for that particular day. Each club owner, invested their time into me. I invest into their digital marketing network, to assist them; even when my concert series is long over.
This gift, of an opportunity; continues to give. We pay forward, what is given to us. I focus on business for the long term.
This may be a living room, or a loft to you. For me; this is a think tank. This is home to all of my business ventures and ideas. How can I create a better path for myself? I have to get my brand, my products and my services in front of as many eyes as possible. How I decide to do that is completely up to me. The other day I had the illest business idea, for direct to consumer marketing. Try it.
I saw an order of ice cream pops, for my franchise. It was a hot summer day. We changed from push pops, to double pallet styles. Cutting costs, down by 55%. I started to think about, how much more ice I could buy; to keep them cooler. Then it hit me. I can give these out on the beach for free; with my business cards attached. Why not? ROI? Come on. They cost less than $1.00 each. I can spend $500.00 to get access to 500 potential clients. Try to get a billboard downtown for less than tens of thousands of dollars; anywhere. $500 bucks, is reasonable. Sometimes you have to meet people face to face.
The digital marketing, is only to spike interest; not to peak it. What you do with the attention, once you have it; is up to you. Its hot. Kids are playing hard. Families have to stand in the heat, to supervise. Here we show up, with t-shirts, gift baskets, with snacks and ice cream pops. And here is our business card, by the way.
We do business differently. I am a celebrity. Maybe that is why I approach things this way. In other words. Our clients are here, online right now but, they are out there. They have always been out there. We do not have the luxury to always bet on them, coming to us. Sometimes, we need to go out there.
I do not mind giving away sandwiches, at a college campus. With a business card. Free. Yes I can ask that they join our social media etc. But, if they appreciate what we do; they will do that on their own. There is no need to "force the play"; any further. We open the sale. Expand the sale. And close the sale.
For example. You buy a hoodie from me. Here is your hat. You order a t-shirt. Here is your key chain. You order a head band. Here are some bumper stickers/ laptop/ skateboard stickers. If I pass by a skate park, I will make sure I have 1,000 Capri Suns, in ice cold; ice water. Like the old school commercials. Instead of a business card. I can have fliers. Instead of just fliers, they can be made into stickers/ small billboard "cards".
You have to use your imagination. You have to get creative. Yesterdays business model, no longer exists. You may think this is below your pay grade. Or that you are too cool to reach out and touch the people. But, that will only motivate me more. I will look for creative ways to connect, with the people digitally and physically.
I may promote a music event, at a car show or a food truck festival. You may believe that, it should be reserved for music venues; only. I don't have that problem.
You want to know the secret to my success? Hard work; non stop, all day, every day. Even on Sunday mornings! Lol.
