MIA - Missing In Action

Everyday thousands, of persons face sexual harassment or are sexually assaulted (every 98 seconds some is sexually assaulted in the United States.)

The United States is no alone in the world, HOWEVER THE VICTIMS MOST OFTEN ARE LEFT ALONE IN DEALING WITH THIS EXPERIENCE.

And it can have devastating experiences, including substance use and even suicide.

I KNOW BECAUSE, I HAVE BEEN THERE TOO MANY TIMES THAT I WANT TO REMEMBER.

This is why I am creating and founding "The Courage & Strength Games," for mental health.

Our Military face a daunting challenge, not only are there sexual assaults in the ranks. There is also a huge problem when soldiers return from combat.

It is not usually spoken about, but there are sexual assaults among military spouses. There is also mental, emotional, verbal, and physical assaults.

So, it is my mandate that military family and service members got the support they deserve.

Through these game there will be The MIA Program, everyone knows MIA means missing in action. Too often military members are still missing in action when returning home.

They are not the same husband/wife, father/mother, son,daughter, etc.

So The MIA program stands for "Mental Health Initiative Awareness," which will offer the counselling support these families need...grief & loss, spousal counselling, family counselling, anger management, substance abuse, etc.
