New Mining Law in Mexico Concerns Industry
A new law in Mexico has many in the industry worried, with concerns that the legislation will put a damper on activity, according to Fitch Ratings. The group says, “Mexico’s new mining law will negatively affect mining activity in the country by curbing exploration, shortening concession lengths, raising operational continuity concerns and re-energizing community negotiations.”
