Tap your credit card to travel across local 905 transit systems
Customers can now tap their credit cards to pay transit fares on Durham Region Transit, York Region Transit, Burlington Transit and Hamilton Street Railway.
These transit systems join GO Transit, UP Express, Brampton Transit, Mississauga’s MiWay and Oakville Transit which already accept credit payment – and debit, in the case of UP Express
All it takes is a quick tap on a PRESTO machine with your credit card, including those cards on a smartphone or smartwatch, and you are ready to travel.
“We are thrilled to see transit riders using new PRESTO payment options like contactless credit, making their transit experience even easier, more flexible and convenient,”?- Barclay Hancock , Metrolinx Chief Payments Officer

The proposed Queen Street-Highway 7 bus rapid transit (Q7BRT) will allow transit riders to travel from the west end of Brampton, all the way to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre on one bus.
It is anticipated the Q7BRT would have one to two stops per kilometre with some of those stops connecting to other regional networks such as GO Transit, and the TTC subway.

2 年Metrolinx I want to tell you there are 150 owners waiting for the compensation of the land Metrolinx has taken from them as part of the tunneling and it is almost a year they have not received other than the advance. Sheppard & McCowan intersection can you look into so many emails that were sent from out attorney and he says there is delay in response and looks like no one cares. Owners need this money badly as they want to have some.compensation for their land being used.
