Metrojet Flight 9268...downed by a bomb?

Geopolitical analyst and former US Marine pilot. Joel Skousen wrote this in his recent World Affairs Brief about Metrojet Flight 9268:

"Medical personnel who have examined the bodies say the body parts suggest "Powerful Explosion." US intelligence satellites all have heat sensors on them in order to detect missile launches worldwide. They detected a large heat signature coming from the doomed plane before it crashed. This could mean several things:

1) A missile strike from a surface to air missile, or fighter aircraft
2) An engine related fire
3) A bomb on board which caused a fuel explosion

Let’s have a look at each possibility:

The US satellites said they did not detect any other aircraft nearby nor the heat trail signature of a missile and none of the US-backed terrorists, including ISIS have surface to air missiles capable of reaching 31,000 feet.

2. An engine related fire would not create explosive conditions, despite the phony CIA video explaining away the missile shoot down of TWA 800. It would create a wing fire, but the plane would still be able to fly a long distance descending.

3. The bomb on board would create a heat signature if it were big enough, but if it caused a fuel fire as well, there would be a large heat signature and the plane would probably come apart almost instantly.
There is also the issue of the previously damaged tail section. If not properly repaired it is possible that the plane could have lost control at altitude. However, a recent inspection had shown no stress cracks making that unlikely. It would also not have given off any appreciable heat signature. It is also doubtful that the plane would have broken up into such small pieces spread over many miles if only the tail had failed.

If there was a bomb placed on board by IS, that would ultimate be laid at the feet of US and British intelligence that created and still control ISIS–especially if Egypt had the equipment to detect bombs in airline baggage, which would require considerable sophistication (or collusion) by the bomber to bypass. Ultimately, this attack is a slick way of sending a message to Russia that the US has many ways of making Russia pay a high price at home for fighting ISIS. Russia has wisely cancelled all flights to and from Egypt as a result."

Both the US and the UK have both said intelligence points to the strong possibility it was caused by a bomb.

News that a Thomson Airways flight from London Stansted to the Red Sea resort, carrying 189 passengers, took evasive action after the missile was spotted in its trajectory by the pilot. The crew of flight TOM 476 landed the plane safely and passengers were not advised of the incident, which occurred on 23 August. This would indicate that terrorists are active in the area and have been targeting planes...

Once the black box and Cockpit Voice Recorders have been analysed we will no more facts about what happened. Bear in mind though that terrorists have claimed they downed #Metrojet 9268, so all evidence so far is certainly pointing in that direction. Certainly Airbus are keen to find out what happened, as recently they have had a few of their plans crash.

One of the problems in aviation is that aircraft are operated across the world and every country has different standards and regulations. Pilot training for example is very different in certain countries. However, once qualified you can have both an Indians Boeing B747 and a British B747 both land at Heathrow airport but the pilots standards are very different. On the subject of security, it is very lax in certain parts of the world and with a bit of cash you can get anything through...It is down to the airlines to have enhanced security measures when they fly in and out of certain countries.
