Assumptions. “All inclusive” Labor cost: $60 per hour. Vehicle speed limited to 5 mph. Assuming average Vehicle and trailer speed at 4 mph due to driving surface changes. Walking speed estimated at average 2.0 mph due to the tight physical environment and pushing a caster wheeled flatbed trailer. Assuming Vehicle and trailers or personnel on foot physically operate 12 hours per 24-hour period, 7 days a week, and Assuming equipment and goods are moved around onboard or in Port , 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, the direct time savings utilizing the METransport Vehicles and trailers represents a greater efficiency of approximately 50% over personnel walking, and/or pushing a caster wheeled, flat bed cart in traditional ways.

This means that in terms of efficiency, utilization of METransport Vehicles and Trailers represent a 50% cost savings. This represents a cost savings of $840 in labor cost alone, per 24-hour day. That is a savings of $5880 per week and $25460.40 per month.?

Based on current Metransport pricing for one Vehicle, one 40” side loader trailer (assume $16,950 without sales tax), the approximate time to pay back 100% of the cost of the Vehicle and Trailer is approximately 20.18 days or less than 3 weeks. This ROI is profound!?
