The MT700 micro electric vehicle and its state-of-the-art safety features allow for easy operation through small spaces such as doorways, elevators, and around tight corners. Easy to Use

METransport offers a free live safety class and safety video, with an annual renewable Certificate of Completion for all vehicle operators. The operating controls of the vehicle are simple and familiar, with a short learning curve for the operator which promotes safety and eliminates distractions.

Compact Design

Compact dimensions and maneuverability of vehicle promote safe operation near pedestrians and other equipment at a non-intimidating and friendly scale. The front and rear bumpers of the vehicle are ergonomically designed for ease of pick up and transport by two individuals. Additionally, due to the lightweight and small size of the vehicle, a single person can easily “push” a vehicle out of the way in the event the vehicle is in a pedestrian congested area.

Laser Accident Avoidance

METransport vehicles are equipped with two different types of lasers.

Laser Detection sensors located on the food rests ensure that the operator has both feet firmly planted in order for the throttle to operate.

Utilized in the front of the vehicle, our accident avoidance sensors will activate the horn to warn the operator of an obstacle or pedestrian approaching, or when the vehicle is traveling above 5 MPH.

Safety Lights

Each vehicle is equipped with switchable, amber lens, high intensity LED flashing lights, located on each side of the vehicle, warning everyone (including the hearing impaired) of the proximity of the vehicle. Additionally, each vehicle is equipped with a switchable, clear lens, forward facing high intensity LED flashing light, providing a visual warning of an oncoming vehicle, and a switched, multiple LED focused clear lens headlight, illuminating the path forward and warning pedestrians of an oncoming vehicle.

Battery Indicator

Each vehicle is equipped with a battery condition indicator which tells the operator the precise existing capacity of the battery at any time. When the indicator gets to a flashing amber (as opposed to green) bar, the vehicle automatically switches the motor to half power and permits the vehicle to “limp home” to an outlet for recharging thereby never stranding the operator with a dead battery, or having the vehicle become immovable with a dead battery.

Single Operation

The design of the vehicle limits its operation to one person, thereby eliminating the responsibility of the operator for multiple passengers and the distraction and confusion that comes with the multiple passenger situation on a single vehicle.

Safe Towing

The design of the METransport vehicle only permits towing from the rear of the vehicle, which provides the operator with an unobstructed 180 degree view of the front and sides of the vehicle while underway, irrespective of the size and shape of the trailer which is under tow. This protects pedestrians and objects from unintended contact with the vehicle due to the avoidance of blind spots.
