#MeToo & The Workplace.

As the clock ticks 10 30 & the mind dips into slumber, just a few random thoughts.

As the movement finds a stronger footing in India, its the right time for us to introspect and bring about a change. I'd rather say that the harrasment is not restricted to females & may take many more forms other than the sexual ones.

Being a part of the Corporate Sector for quite some while, this factor is pretty common & known to all. The predatory eyes follow multiple walks, all at the same time while the prey just prays to reach safe haven in time. Yes, thats how it has been & #MeToo if not anything else, will bring a sense of insecurity and fear to predators.

Its a change in mindset that neeeds importance. It has to begin from within, treating all genders as one. Attraction & Admiration is imperative & cannot be avoided. But Imposition & Harrasment has many forms and we, as society need to discourage the same.

Raise your voice when you see so. Be it a male, or a female, exploitation & harrasment of all sorts can end only if we, as youngsters, take the charge & carry the baton till the end. Because this race is nothing less than a relay!
