Forget AI and the future, We need a Employee Rights Revolution...It has to be TODAY, this cannot be prolonged, We need to have a VOICE. We tech workers need to come together and make our friends - the Big Folks in the boardroom realize our POWER, we need to JOIN forces.
?? We need a revolution to protect our rights
?? We need some reforms in Immigration to get Breather time for folks on VISA
Layoffs specially from companies with massive PROFITS have become routine, often with little regard for the people behind the numbers. This isn’t just about job losses—it’s about power imbalance, lack of worker rights. Layoffs are understandable during stress times, financial management side but care should be taken to see whom it impacts. “Power doesn’t corrupt people; people corrupt power. How you treat others when the tables turn says everything about your character.”
Big Tech holds enormous influence over our economy, society, and even democracy. Yet, the very people who build these companies—the engineers, designers, product managers, and countless others—are left vulnerable to decisions made in boardrooms focused solely on stock prices.
It's time to demand better:
?? Fair treatment & transparency in layoffs.
?? Stronger protections for workers, especially those on VISAs.
?? A collective voice to ensure long-term value creation isn’t sacrificed for short-term gains.
If tech truly wants to "build the future of human connection," then let’s start by treating the people behind that future with dignity and respect.
