How do you get your brand into the metaverse?

Some of the best and easiest ways to start winning in the metaverse include:?

  1. Creating NFTs that represents your brand or company. A great place to start is via as Roblox, Fortnite, Decentraland, Meta Quest 2 and Sandbox.
  2. Sponsoring events within the metaverse such as gaming/sporting tournaments or music festivals. Virtual events are a great way to start with music, sporting events and fashion!
  3. Building virtual offices for employees to work together.
  4. Creating virtual stores or platforms for shopping experiences.
  5. Make collectibles available.
  6. Engage with existing communities.
  7. Allow customers to try products and use native advertising.
  8. Replicate the physical retail experience with a virtual venue.
  9. Create virtual items for digital avatars.

Is buying land in the metaverse profitable?

Land on popular platforms such as: Decentraland, The Sandbox and Axie Marketplace are extremely hot places to buy land on the metaverse.?I even hear FutureX EXPO MetaVerse is soon to be a great choice to make a direct purchase of land, coins, space, NFT's and transact. (Stay tuned !)

With proper and professional research, real estate companies and/or individuals can easily earn massive profits by buying and selling digital real estate in Metaverse.

Having been lucky enough to pioneer Internet Marketing since my first NASDAQ listing in 1996, I DO NOT view the metaverse as a "speculative" platform. In fact, I am as excited as it has the same "limitless potential" to bring reality into a digital world and simulate real-world experiences through pixels and virtual real estate!

Actually, I am feeling a Déjà vu experience because I have already lived through this experience over a quarter of a century ago while pioneering web1.

In fact, I was fortunate to have been living in Westport, CT when companies like: Modem Media, Poppe Tyson were revolutionizing the Web by combining technology and "advertising know-how" to help create the still-immature industry of online advertising/ interactive meda.?(circa 1995) That's when I first started getting passionate about the limitless of interactive media. (the pre-curser of Internet Marketing and web1.)

WOW, I just found myself going down 'memory lane" even remembering, I certainly clearly still recall DoubleClick Inc. too. ?DoubleClick Inc.?was an advertisement company that developed and provided Internet ad serving?services from 1995 until its acquisition by Google in March 2008. DoubleClick offered technology products and services that were sold primarily to advertising agencies and mass media, serving clients like: Microsoft, General Motors, Coca-Cola, Palm Inc, Apple Inc. and more.???

Exactly a year ago, a standard plot of land in Decentraland was sold for USD $1,000, while now the price is as high as USD $13,000 and that's not the limit. Additionally, many Analysts today, believe that?metaverse land is more profitable than traditional land in 2022 already.

What is the metaverse?

The metaverse is the next generation of the Internet. Instead of websites, people (as avatars) visit different virtual platforms. Thanks to virtual reality (VR) headgear, a headset or browser which allows people to have real time interactions and experiences across distance.?

Importantly, Millennials (Aged 26-41 years) & Gen Z (Aged 10 -25 years) are forcing the ‘traditional’ real estate agents and industry to watch these younger cohorts as they stand on the precipice of becoming the dominate group of home buyers in 2022 and beyond.

I personally believe, real estate agents today will greatly benefit by enhancing their digital and marketing skills. Especially as it relates to metaverse VR/AR tech. I also see it will?significantly expand the pool of their potential buyers. I additionally see, the vast potential in the following markets too: financial services, travel, music, and books, even food and beverages.

Luxury Property and real estate already showcases through VR are already occurring in the US and worldwide. There are VR options where potential homebuyers can use VR headsets and compatible smartphones to take virtual reality tours too. This especially started to boom once COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020.

Metaverse history

The metaverse as a term was coined in Neal Stephenson's 1992 science fiction novel Snow Crash, where humans, as avatars, interact with each other. In Stephenson's novel, the metaverse refers to a digital universe that can be accessed through VR. As a plot, it has been used in several works of science fiction, including the Matrix films, and served as a source of inspiration to the founders of Google, Amazon, and Facebook.

Additionally, Mark Zuckerberg’s repeated references to the metaverse throughout 2020 and 2021 saw the concept gain mass global attention.

Importantly, as Decentraland is a “decentralized platform” - all companies can provide their audiences with a Metaverse experience. (I hope every realtor, broker or real estate company globally takes notice!)

Decentraland has also been developing a set of tools and applications to assist users in creating three-dimensional content, games, applications, and more that can be used, sold, and traded within the platform. Additionally, they excel at Virtual reality, app development, game creation, cryptocurrencies, and 3D art and design.

Metaverse - Statistics & Facts

Regarded as the next iteration of the Internet, the metaverse is where the physical and digital worlds come together. As an evolution of social technologies, the metaverse allows digital representations of people, avatars, to interact with each other in a variety of settings.

Whether it be at work, in an office, going to concerts or sports events, or even trying on clothes, the metaverse provides a space for endless, interconnected virtual communities using virtual reality?(VR) headsets, augmented reality?(AR) glasses, smartphone apps, or other devices.

SUMMARY:

As a pioneer, visionary, and entrepreneur since the ‘dot com’ days (web1), I urge all professional real estate brokers, real estate agents, developers, real estate portfolio managers, CRE broker, etc. to quickly start studying and "modeling" yourself after people who are already getting massive results and success by creating virtual worlds, smart contracts, tokenization, crypto, NFTs, and web 3.0 strategies.

I urge all professionals in the real estate industry is embracing AI, the metaverse using AR/VR technologies. With virtual reality technology, buyers can make an emotional, sensory, and physical connection with homes, touring without setting foot inside. This technology should add excitement to the real estate market, expediting the purchasing process and giving consumers greater confidence to make purchases without physically visiting a property.?

While technology alone cannot sell homes or furniture, it can help buyers to make decisions more quickly with more accurate information, resulting in less hesitation and reduced buyers’ remorse.

Importantly, I believe every real estate agent, broker, developer or passionate about real estate today or even real estate company must:

  1. Integrate metaverse marketing across all channels
  2. Target specific segments with customized messages and interaction
  3. Replace transactional call centers with dialogue
  4. Use consumers known interests to target information and benefits - demonstrating understanding of needs and desires
  5. Use frequent, customer-driven communication to establish a trusted and incredible customer experience dialogue throughout the sales process.

Finally, Will Rogers said it best when he stated “Don’t wait to buy real estate. Buy real estate and wait.”
