1. What inspired you to pursue a career in your field, what role did technology and innovation play, and how did you become interested in the Metaverse?

Jürg: Such a career was not originally planned. But the many different tasks, jobs, eventually led to a picture that I am very happy with today. Doors have closed, and others have opened.

Laurent: The physical and digital synergies within a running solution such as a Machine and every part & piece involved.

2. What do you see as the biggest challenge facing the adoption of Metaverse technologies in the industrial sector, and how do you plan to address this challenge?

Jürg: For many, the metaverse is even further away than the digital twin. In my opinion, it needs visionary companies that do not put profit first but actively prepare and develop the future.?

3. What are some of the most exciting Metaverse use cases you've come across in your work, and how do you think they will impact the industrial sector?

Jürg: AR/IoT can be seen as a bridge technology to the metaverse. It is primarily services and training that one can well imagine being offered in the metaverse in the future.

4. How do you envision the Metaverse evolving in the next 5-10 years, and what opportunities do you see for businesses in the industrial sector?

Jürg: Seeing how difficult it is for the industry to implement AR/IoT, I wouldn't dare to make a prediction here.

5. How do you think the adoption of the Industrial Metaverse will impact the workforce, including the development of new job roles, upskilling requirements, and remote work opportunities?

Laurent: It will heavily and positively impact all the factors

6. What advice would you give to aspiring professionals who are interested in pursuing a career in Metaverse technology and its related fields?

Laurent: Find or be found by long-term customers, be patient, get really good at helping them achieve their goals, solve their needs, grow together, and talk about it.
