Metaverse From an Eye of a Non-Tech Person

Recently, Facebook has changed it’s company name to Metaverse. There will be millions of views about the efficiency and the need for this change. Technology is ever-evolving, we see changes and sometimes we are unsure about the results. People are excited to see this change because who doesn’t want to feel the virtual reality as they feel the real physical world?

Metaverse is the future of technology and changes will always occur, no matter what. What should you do as a person who is confused about the amalgamation of the virtual and physical world? I read an article last year, precisely in 2020 that Facebook will create a 3D reality where people create their Avatars and shared office spaces as they do in real. For me, being a completely non-technical person, this news was intriguing but scary at the same time.

3D Home Spaces

Mark mentioned that people will be able to create the 3D version of their homes, which will be exactly similar to real ones, your Avatar will be moving in that 3D space and you will be a part of that reality. People who are away from their homes will be able to feel the warmth of their home, even when they will be miles apart, this is the good side.

Imagination into Reality

If you’ve got a creative mind, you can float in a chocolate river in Metaverse world, you can have a space experience in your room, you can create yourself into your favorite character. Possibilities will be endless. Now, this might give us an instant gratification that we always need but we will be able to live the experience of our imagination.

Create your own 3D Heaven or Hell

Ever imagined that you can have a life in hell or heaven while being on Earth? This is something you can do and feel with 3D Metaverse reality. How your brain works, will decide what you create.

3D Avatar or You will be the same?

Even though this technology of metaverse will be a game-changer, it will never replace the human touch, feelings, and emotions. We can get a reality closer to our real world, but if your internet connection is lost, your Avatar will be lifeless. The interesting factor is that, you will create your reality and you will have all the power over it.

Humans are irreplaceable

No technology can ever replace a real human. If you freak out with the latest advancements, always remember that it is the human mind which is creating all these technological miracles. We might soon be seeing a technology that will allow us to record our memories and we will be able to play it whenever we like, well this is already portrayed in Black Mirror, one of my favorite series on Netflix. All the changes will occur, even if you don’t want it, but how you will adapt to these technological advancements, is in your control.

Change is always challenging, for some it can be painful too, but the smart ones know how to embrace it. Just imagine the possibilities that you can get with this new Metaverse technology. It can offer a space to people who never got to see the kind of happiness they wanted in real, they can live in their imagination and feel it. How you comprehend this change is totally on you.
