Metaverse : An extension of the physical world
Early 2020s technology and sociological changes gave rise to the extended reality gaming and social environments that we now refer to as the "Metaverse." It took off in 2021 - 2022 when Facebook made the decision to change its name to "Meta," spurring a billion-dollar investment in the Metaverse. However, Metaverse is currently a shared space, therefore neither its functionality nor its integration is complete. This scenario directs to a question, "Will the Metaverse actually materialize?" Experts have made predictions about the Metaverse's future development and significance following a thorough investigation. The prediction is that the Metaverse will fully emerge as its advocate foretell.
The Metaverse will manifest fully, as its proponents predict, is supported by several factors. The COVID-19 pandemic increased the demand for new and improved online tools in healthcare, education, and many others. The need for improvement doubled the investment with the motive for profit. The coming tech advances in Metaverse will resolve issues people are currently facing with the Web 2.0 environment. Along with the tech advances, software, hardware, user interfaces, and network capabilities will also be advanced enough to adopt Metaverse broadly.
Metaverse will even enable remote healthcare, disaster-response flexibility, the creation of new kinds of communities, enriched learning experiences, and automated encounters with smart agents. The Augmented-and Virtual Reality (#AR & #VR) expansion will improve real-world experiences by making reality more comprehensible and captivating. The tech advances will magnify all human activities in the coming year.

Metaverse is a vast digital ecosystem that might change the world. As it is not fully immersive yet, developing the fundamental competencies and gaining a grasp of what is currently achievable in Metaverse. We are years away from this being an actual thing but it is good to be prepared. There are still many steps to take before this becomes a reality.
