Are we ready to adopt the latest technologies in education and training? In this edition of Skill Times from NSN we focus on several interesting aspects of technology and latest developments in the evolving work-integrated learning ecosystem in India.

Metaverse is rapidly transforming vocational education and skill development through simulation-based learning. Technology development led to the next generation of virtual reality (VR), which opened a doorway to the metaverse and had a favourable impact on the frontier of this digital space.

Another focal area in this edition is improving students' employability in higher education. By taking significant steps to make them employable while simultaneously focusing on giving them a quality education. We also had the opportunity to be part of the expert panel and share our views on relevant topics in the review meeting of the vocational teacher education curriculum of Indian Universities at BSDU, Jaipur. This edition also explores careers in DevOps, diploma in Mechatronics, NQT, a career in AI and MLOps, and drones in agriculture and data science, as well as recent news updates on education and skill development.
