[META]?Meta's new AI could tear down the language barrier once and for all: No Language Left Behind (NLLB) is a first-of-its-kind, AI breakthrough project that open-sources models capable of delivering evaluated, high-quality translations directly between 200 languages—including low-resource languages
[Futurism]?AI Referee Will Track Players' Individual Limbs At World Cup The assistive technology takes into consideration a dizzying array of data points. A dozen strategically-placed, AI-connected cameras continuously collect data from 29 specific points on players' bodies, while a sensor, which sits at the center of the ball, relays its exact location approximately 500 times per second.

2 年I especially like the article on the ways to avoid AI bias, with the focus on established responsible AI governance frameworks. When training people to work with AI based tools we should make sure that they develop all the skills/competences that are postulated in these frameworks (e.g equalAI framework).
