"METAMORPHOSIS-A ROAD TO SELF DISCOVERY"

Think about how much time you have spent in your life trying to fix things that were never going to get fixed because you did not realise that the solution was within you all along. That sums up my take on coaching. It's a process of realisation leading to transformation.?

The idea of transformation and metamorphosis reminds me of my mother’s wisdom whenever someone says that they are ageing. She stops and tells them, “You start ageing and changing from the day you are born.”

"What goes on in the process of change isn't always pretty, but the results can be beautiful" says Martha Beck.

I realise that my journey of change is not the story of a big bang event, instead it's one of metamorphosis. It's a journey replete with physical and mental growth signifying positive results, like metamorphosis of the yolk into the embryo, a tadpole into a frog, a bud into a blossom or a caterpillar into a spectacular butterfly.?

My journey of coaching has been one of transformation too. It brought in the realisation that dispelling internal confusion is the first step to offering clarity, and that diffusion is vital for expansion. So there I was, like a caterpillar shedding my skin, leaving the soft vulnerable muscles exposed for the sole purpose of evolution. I was reforming & re-calibrating myself several times in the process. I was going through a self cleansing act, cleansing my mind, letting go off the baggage, learning a lot about self-awareness, learning to observe more, learning to listen, learning it’s ok to fail successfully, to fail faster, to fail better.?

Currently I am crawling out of my cocoon and waiting for my wrinkled, waterlogged wings to dry and expand. I want to continue to discover, empty myself and evolve to be able to connect with individuals and measure them using a new currency-Humanity.
