Network Deployment Engineer, Deployment & Support (University Grad)

you’ll have the chance to work on all aspects of networking at Meta, from design and deployment to operation and maintenance. You’ll be part of a dynamic and innovative team that’s passionate about building and operating one of the world’s most advanced networks.

Qualifications:

Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and use troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and problem solving skill under pressure

Attention to detail with time management and organization skills

Knowledge of IPv6 and BGP, CCIE, CCNA or other vendor equivalent

General knowledge of Content Delivery Networks and/or Internet Peering strategies

Proficient working with Linux shell, its main commands and tools.

Knowledge of container technologies such as LXC and Docker

Knowledge of Databases (e.g. MySQL) and a general knowledge of SQL

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
