Since there has been a lot of interest in Meta-analysis tutorials in R and RStudio and i have made a lot of them in different time periods, i decided to feature them in one Newsletter so you can navigate and read them easier. You may access the tutorials by clicking the links bellow... My recommendation is learning using the specified order from 1 to 5, but any tutorial is independent in practical terms so they can also be learned individually.
Meta-analysis in R part 1 . First part is introductory and shows you how to use 'meta' package in R, conduct basic evidence synthesis and produce the forest plots.
This part if focused on differentiating and using Fixed and Random effects in Metaanalysis and adding additional interpretation metrics - predication intervals.
If you are interested in advanced publication grade esthetics and adpting your forest plot to JAMA, 'meta' or Revman5 publication grade styles, this part is very important to learn.
Validation of the results, bias analysis, sensitivity analysis and funnel plots are the main theme of part 4. This part is one of the most essential in whole series.

Finally and additional part focusing on analyzing influence of other variables, moderators on the main effect of the Meta-analysis - Meta-regression is the theme of part 5. Producing publication grade Meta-regression plots using 'metafor' package is also covered.
The complexity of interpreting the Meta-analysis. In this edition (which is part of my Advanced Stats and Data Science Newsletter), the complexity of interpreting Meta-analysis is the main topic. Effects, Heterogeneity, Study designs, frameworks, statistical methods, data visualization and visual reasoning, meta-analysis context and many other relevant details are discussed.
Thanks for reading and happy learning!
PS let me know if you have any suggestions.
