Met Jack Canfield & More Wow, OMG, No Way

  Random crazy happenings are the norm with me BUT sometimes even I'm shocked into outer space. Last time I was in complete shock that "business famous" folk who are well known and respected in their field had liked, favourited etc something that I wrote.

Just two months ago TODAY... It was May 29th around noon. Sitting in a coffee shop before soon heading back  to the multi speaker workshop I was at. After lunch the room was going to get to meet Jack Canfield who wrote Chicken Soup for The Soul.

At that very moment; I got a notification that he'd 'liked' an update I wrote about my Purpose in life. Which hands down no questions asked is my hobby that I write about every Sunday. Rubbed my eyes in disbelief! Talk about ready to die of flattery!!

Next part is nowhere near as that faint from flattery...but few days before that I was heading to a business group with mainly start-ups; heading in towards the boardroom where it was being held see another person walking as if they may be attending a presentation.

 EXCUSE ME are you attending a meeting tonight? They said yes & I introduce myself; tells me his name shakes my hand blah blah we go in.Ok; then we walk in & I find out he's one of the PRESENTATION PANEL!

Later; as it turns out; realize he's the OWNER of a company I once cold called to prospect for VYA. It was him that I spoke to when I did. Freaky or what!!

   Then yet again something similar. Walking into a recent conference see another who looks as if they may be attending as well. Again, me & my fat mouth with my "Excuse Me".

He says yes; he's also attending. I introduce myself. If I don't then become the no name short dark girl who yapped to them. Not to mention it's kinda weird & rude not to know each others names. Later on I learn he's one of the PRESENTERS!!

So, I tell him what happened with the previous  'excuse me' person. CRAZY!! Two for two in a MONTH? At two different workshops? And it's ME they met walking in?

He laughs..small world. We get to talking about what we do blah blah. Tell him at times due to hired for data entry think I've met a person but really only seen their contact info or business card.

In other case it's a logo & that was case where "Excuse Me - did we meet before?" to one guy who calls me "Firecracker" & tells everyone that too! He laughs again.

 Didn't tell him this but I'm still wondering do others not say Excuse Me?? Or talk to people as people? On top of that; my WHOLE LIFE I lived in a shadow of not being told ever that I was smart or would succeed at anything.

So VIP people or anyone who is a fan of what I write is MAJOR FLATTERY!!              They 'liked, re-tweeted etc what I  wrote? Or finding out they're on my social media just makes me go WHAT??! They just said Hello to me in person out of so many others or appeared on MY accounts & we've never met?

If I'm dreaming I don't want to wake up!
