MESTIF - TBB AND NOZZLE

A: “We discussed about MESTIF and Spacetime, and that scientists have observed the universe is expanding and at an increasing speed. You mentioned that many scientists consider the origin of our universe was The Big Bang (TBB) which occurred about 13.8 billion years ago, and the universe began its expansion since then and continues till this day. And one of the biggest questions in cosmology is what existed before The Big Bang (TBB) .”

B: “I also mentioned that one viewpoint is using MESTIF. That is, before TBB, MESTIF was at a pure IF state, and no ME and ST were present. From the moment of TBB, the original MESTIF began to transform into systems (elementary particles, atoms, molecules, elements, stars, planets, solar systems, galaxies, etc.). Each of these systems can be viewed to have its own MESTIF, and their MESTIF are of different scales, and they constantly interact and intertwine with one another.”

A: “I understand that scientists call the state of the universe just before TBB as ‘singularity’, at which its density was of an infinite value because all the matters and information of the universe were squeezed into a space of zero or infinitesimally small volume. Your viewpoint of MESTIF indicates that only Information Field (IF) existed before TBB, without any Matter-Energy (ME) and Spacetime (ST). How would IF be represented at that stage if there were no ME and ST at all?”

B: “Maybe we should ask the question of ‘Why must IF be represented by ME and ST only?’ This way, it opens up new possibilities. That is, before TBB, IF might be represented in a certain form that it either occupied no space (anyway, ST and ME were not expressed yet at that stage) or it occupied an infinitesimally small space.”

A: “When you said IF, i.e., the pure IF form of MESTIF, occupied an infinitesimally small space just before TBB, are you saying that this is another postulate on TBB?”

B: “Yes, this is another possible explanation of what happened during TBB, which we can called it the ‘Nozzle Postulate’. Imagine that before TBB, the universe with pure IF or another form of MESTIF was at the inlet section of a nozzle (Figure 1) moving towards the throat of the nozzle, with its velocity increasing and its temperature and pressure decreasing. At the throat of the nozzle, the universe went through a sudden rapid acceleration – scientists called this the inflation of the early universe – and it then continued to accelerate but with a gradually decreasing acceleration, which is what scientists observed today.”

A: “This postulate sounds pretty promising as it does explain many of the scientific observations. However, if our universe did go through a cosmological-scale nozzle-like structure during TBB, that means our universe came from somewhere else before it reached the inlet section of the nozzle.”

B: “Well, the Nozzle Postulate implies that our universe did not begin at TBB, but rather it existed before TBB, went through a cosmological-scale nozzle-like structure during TBB, and continued its accelerated expansion till this day. As can be seen in Figure 1, its acceleration is slowing, and the universe will eventually be expanding at a constant velocity. The Nozzle Postulate also explains why our observable universe looks relatively flat.”

A: “There are other questions related to the Nozzle Postulate, such as what was the cosmological-scale nozzle-like structure made of and how it was formed, what happened to the universe before it arrived at the inlet section of the nozzle, etc.?”

B: “These are the areas and questions for those who are keen on the Nozzle Postulate to explore and find answers. After all, science, like art, technology, design, business, and other fields, is about continuous exploration, discovery, innovation, etc.”
