If You don't play 'SOLO' in AutoCAD, You might need to use XREFs to communicate with other designers at any multidisciplinary project.

Whether You Like them XREFs or Not, in most cases it's the only way to share data, get the project dynamically updated for all. As with any other language, there are things that can be said and others that might start WWIII.

Those are the XREF Malpractices any CAD User should avoid -or at least -
