Messianic?

Jesus performed two main functions while on earth. He put to death the demands of the Israelites for a King to overtake the invading nations of the chosen land. When the Israel peoples went to Samuel demanding a King to be like the other nations in battle the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me from being King (Sovereign)over them.
As always God honors the highest point of His creation, decisions from the mind of mankind. But when the effort, in Jerusalem, to crown Jesus, an unqualified person, to be King in Jerusalem the decision of the people was subverted and Jesus was to put that idea to death dying under the banner of King of the Jews.
The second function was to rise, to be raptured from that death as the Messiah Sovereign. The Messianic resurrection Christ was and is to return mankind to the Spirit Image breathed into him (and walked away from) to establish his own ego breath.
Christ Jesus was resurrected into the Sovereignty of who He really was and that was not; just a human King to lead in the human battles but a Messianic Sovereign to lead mankind out of the bondages of the fear-filled rejection life to the Love of acceptance casting out ALL fear of any future Spirit bondages.
The spirit of rejection, first introduced by satan, is the behavior of fallen nature and is the opposite of the Spirit of Love which is unconditional acceptance. If a person's own ways are considered right then they reject anyone else's ways, therein living in the attitude of rejection; satan's mindset from the beginning of the fall from Spirit-Life. The acceptance of God's way is paramount for mankind.
Matthew and Luke were recorded to outline God's plan to redeem mankind to the original Spirit Image breathed into mankind, when made, to occupy and have dominion of over all of God's creation, the earth; with no need to fight for that assigned dominion that satan tried to eliminate.

7 年Religion, as taught by Ministers, are also growing in Grace which takes a lifetime of relational experience and practice, who are in process too. Become more and more like Christ Jesus is just that--becoming.

7 年The article is correct where it states, "The acceptance of God's way is paramount for mankind." So, does it not make sense the spiritual laws of God, based on the law of love which defines "God's way" of living, not be taught as abrogated by ministers?

7 年Just two main functions? I'm thinking, real quickly, a third, to show us the life we are capable of living.

7 年The rapture could also be seen as the resurrection from the dead life of no Spirit ('poor in Spirit', actually bankrupt of Spirit) to the breath of breathed-in-Spirit (air as in Adam)= rising from death (no life) to Eternal Spirit Life.
