Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH

12 years ago we bought a company in Dubai named EPOC and with that acquisition founded EPOC Messe Frankfurt GmbH. This made sense then, because EPOC was already well established, had a network in the government and, of course, a good client database with a nice amount of already running exhibitions. I would like to thank the founders for setting up a great basis for our current operation. A job very well done by business geniuses Geof Dickinson and Michael El Nayal!

12 years later we have built far beyond what was originally EPOC, and even though we still have most of the original employees working for us, the company has completely changed and headed in to a more MENA (Middle East North Africa) international course.

When I joined in July 2009 we had about 30 employees working in the company. Today we have 116 employees and still growing. We have established our name in the region and run 9 strong exhibitions and about 25 conferences per year. Thanks to the basis Geoff and Michael have set, but more thanks to the amazing team we have in Dubai and the hard work all our colleagues put in to grow our gem of a company beyond the shareholder's dreams.

It was time to say goodbye to EPOC and we needed to mature our identity in the market. Officially as from today our name has been changed to Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH. We are still the same company with the same ambitions but now with a name that shows who we are and not who we where.
