A Message to Tesla

"A survey conducted by McKinsey Center For Future Mobility reported that?46%?of U.S. car owners who drive electric vehicles would shift back to an internal combustion engine. The percentage was the second highest behind electric car owners from the United Kingdom, 49% of which would switch back."
You are hemorrhaging customers due to the CEO's obsession with blatant and utter stupidity like the concept of "MEI", Merits, Excellence, and Intelligence:
Elon didn't create PayPal (Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek)
Elon also didn't create Tesla (Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning)
Elon didn't create X/Twitter (Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams)
Elon doesn't run SpaceX (President and?Chief Operating Officer Gwynne Shotwell?reportedly oversees nearly every team at the rocket manufacturing company)
Elon is not the Chief Rocket Engineer at SpaceX (Thomas John Mueller?is an American aerospace engineer and rocket engine designer. He was employee No.1 of SpaceX and is the founder)
Money and privilege are like alcohol blinding humans like Elon Musk who falsely equates privilege of not being labeled a "DEI Hire" with being qualified to speak on the subject.
How is it that the supposed "smartest human on the planet" can't solve the most basic of challenges for Tesla?
Why not implement Photovoltaic glass in Teslas to recharge the battery of the car while driving?
"Photovoltaic glass is a?type of glass that can generate electricity from sunlight"--Solar Magazine
Why not implement Thermoelectric conversion equipment in Teslas to recharge the battery of the car while driving?

"Turning heat into electricity. Study finds topological materials could boost the efficiency of thermoelectric devices."--Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Why not leverage Carbon Capture and Conversion equipment in Teslas?
"Researchers at MIT and Harvard University have developed an efficient process that can convert carbon dioxide into?formate, a liquid or solid material that can be used like hydrogen or methanol to power a fuel cell and generate electricity."--SciTechDaily
Why not solve the issue of exploding batteries in Tesla by implementing scaled versions of the cooling systems of Quantum Computers?"
"Reaching absolute zero for quantum computing now much quicker thanks to breakthrough refrigerator design. Scientists often need to generate temperatures close to?absolute zero?for quantum computing and astronomy, among other uses. Known as the "Big Chill"--Livescience
Instead of fixating on the "woke-mind virus" (whatever that is), focus on helping humans stop abandoning one of the most critical aspects of our race to save the planet.
This is why I support organizations like Drive Clean Colorado which seek to help the state mitigate the exact challenges that are driving nearly half of EV owners to go back to gas-powered vehicles.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is the only way forward!

Harris is certainly qualified to be President. She has the experience and the smarts being a UC SF law graduate. She has the traditional background, especially for Dems who seem to love attorneys and life long public employees. Then the question becomes do you agree with her approach? She is ranked most liberal Democratic Senator by Gov Track beaten only by Sanders. I don’t agree with Sanders but respect his consistency, his determination, his honest self assessment as a Democratic Socialist. Is Harris the same? I can’t find a scintilla of difference in their voting or views. If you really wanted Bernie, I guess here is your second chance.

You are going to lose that argument every time. The underlying argument on DEI is more complicated and two sided. On the one side we can agree rejecting former Army Rangers and Special Forces veterans in favor of recent college grads of the right color and gender for the Secret Service is not a great idea. We can see the consequences and they are huge. On the other hand, in less consequential roles submerging appropriate experience in favor of diversification might make government agencies more reflective of the population and make up for former disadvantage and discrimination. There is no one answer, but instead using common sense to prevent ideology from hurting business or government success. I don’t know an entrepreneur who would jeopardize success to get DEI points. On the other hand we have done well with diverse CEO’s. Not because we had quotas but because they were the most qualified. In government it’s a different equation. I hope the American people judge Harris on the basis of her voting track record in the Senate and the Biden-Harris record.
