Dear Team,
As we move into the next phase of our response to COVID-19, I want to take a minute and let you know I am thinking of each and every one of you. You are strong and resilient.
I want to tell you that it is ok to let yourself be vulnerable. Through vulnerability, we demonstrate strength.
I want to encourage you to lean on others, to continue to practice patience, empathy, and compassion with your teammates, our patients, and yourselves. Through kindness, we all become stronger, and it is this strength that will help get us through the days to come.
And finally, I want to ask that you continue to remain calm and focused. You are supported and you are stronger than you can imagine. Your focus and even-keeled approach will prove to be invaluable as you navigate the work before you.
You are a member of a family and a profession that is not only dedicated to serving others but is also one that meets the most difficult of challenges. Together, through resilience, kindness, and vulnerability, we will persevere.
