A message to our clients

Today we issued our Interim Management Statement for the first four months of 2020. I took the opportunity to reach out to our clients, please find my message below:

"As many countries are beginning to ease lockdown measures and tentatively move towards finding a new normal, I wanted to reach out to you directly.

 First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the trust you continue to place in us during this time. Over the past few months, we have experienced a tremendous disruption to the global status quo, and many unknowns remain as we look to the future. To have your ongoing support spurs us on, as we adapt to this new reality. Regardless of the limits on physical meetings and travel in place at the moment, we remain by your side to help you navigate the current market turbulence as well as your long-term financial aspirations.

Following our Interim Management Statement of 19 May, you will have seen that Julius Baer is operationally and financially rock solid. We attribute this success to the strength of our client relationships and the dedication of our capable employees. Thanks to this, we are able to maintain an unbeatable network across four continents even in times of crisis.

 As we adjust to the situation we now find ourselves in, we at Julius Baer – like many others around the world – are taking stock on a personal, business, and societal level. The circumstances we are facing have given us new impetus to innovate on all levels – how we connect with our clients and within our company. Our experts are working tirelessly to cut through the prevailing complexity to find clarity and provide advice and solutions for any current and future challenges you may have.
