The message to humanity

This is an urgent message to every single Being, awakened and not yet! We have a critical situation on our planet where humanity is facing many pressing challenges. The most critical problem is IGNORANCE, of course. "The blind still leads the blind". Jordan Maxwell also added "The words of Santayana “Those who don’t remember the past are condemned to repeat it” remind us that this has always been the case, and no doubt will be again! But why must we keep making the same mistakes repeatedly? The answer is simple - human ignorance based on laziness and pride, together with an ever-present DENIAL Ignorance and its denial will, sad to say, lead us down the same road as it did in all history. If enough people will get this message, then we at least have a chance at overcoming this ignorance." According to Alice Bailey the reappearance of theChrist, the externalization of the spiritual Hierarchy, and thecoming of the Avatar of Synthesis, is the one great Event forwhich all humanity waits. Much has been made public in the‘Bailey Books’ concerning the reappearance of the Christ andthe externalization of the Hierarchy, but of the ‘Heaven SentOne,’ Who stands behind and is the driving force for thisevent, little is known.From the archives of the Hierarchy and quoted in ATreatise on Cosmic Fire we find the following esoteric prophesy.From the gates of gold down to the pit of earth,out from the flaming fire down to the circle ofgloom, rideth the secret Avatar, bearing thesword that pierceth.Naught can arrest His approach, and none maysay Him nay. To the darkness of our sphere Herideth alone, and on His approach is seen the uttermost disaster, and the chaos of that whichseeketh to withstand.The ‘utmost disaster and chaos’ is caused by thoseresistant to change and from the fact that the first ray ofspiritual Will, Power, and Synthesis is also the ray of divinedestruction, destroying the old crystallized forms so that aNew World may arise from the ashes.The Asuras veil their faces, and the pit of mayareeleth to the foundations. The stars of theeternal Lhas vibrate to that sound, —the WORDuttered with sevenfold intensity.The ‘Asuras,’ who try to hide, are the ‘Brothers of theDark Face,’ who have taken a stand against the spiritualevolution of the world. The ‘pit of maya’ is the physical plane,the lowest of the three planes of maya. The ‘stars of theeternal Lhas are the ‘spirits of the highest spheres.’They have responded to the cries of Earth with the WORD,sounded forth ‘with seven fold intensity.’Greater the chaos becometh; the major centrewith all the seven circulating spheres rock withthe echoes of disintegration. The fumes of utter blackness mount upwards in dissipation. Thenoise discordant of the warring elements greetsthe oncoming One, and deters Him not.The strife and cries of the fourth greatHierarchy, blending with the softer note of theBuilders of the fifth and sixth, meet Hisapproach. Yet, He passeth on His way,sweeping the circle of the spheres, andsounding forth the WORD.The ‘fourth great Hierarchy’ is the human kingdom.The ‘Builders of the fifth and sixth’ are the two Deva orAngel Hierarchies. The ‘WORD’ that He sounds is theVibration of his Silent Will, the Impulse of Synthesis—OneLife, One Purpose, One Family. “The constructive work of the Avatar of Synthesis,”writes Bailey, “will be apparent to you in the name He isknown by; He is coming to the Earth in order to further themanifestation of unity, of oneness and of inter-relation, andHe comes, therefore, to wield and apply first ray energy. Hewill charge or galvanize the three groups—the directingAgents in Shamballa, the Nirmanakayas, and the New Groupof World Servers—with dynamic energy and in a mysterious way, relate them to each other so that a new synthesis andalignment will be present upon the Earth.”The three groups to be energized by the coming Avatarare not the three main centres themselves, Humanity,Hierarchy, and Shamballa, but rather the three groups that actas connecting links between them. This will dissolve the sharpdividing lines that separate them, bringing about, amongother things, a closer unity between humanity and the HigherWorlds. The New Group of World Servers is made up ofthose activists in every field of human endeavor, who work forthe common good of the greater whole.The Avatar of Synthesis, says Bailey, is an extraplanetary avatar. “Bear in mind that those extra-planetaryAvatars have not arrived at Their high state of spiritualunfoldment on our planet or even in our solar system. Theirorigin, source, and spiritual relationships are a great mysteryeven to the Planetary Logoi — to Whose help They go whenthe invocative appeal of any planet is adequate.”“These Avatars appear rarely but when they do, the effectiveness andresults of Their work are very great… They never descendlower than the mental plane… They bring about death—the death of the old and limiting forms and of that which housesevil.”One of the primary functions of these extra-planetaryavatars, says Bailey, is to “Transfer egoic groups from onescheme to another,” from one world to another.This issuggestive, perhaps, of certain apocalyptic propheciesrecorded in the New Testament. “Two shall be in the field,the one shall be taken, and the other left… In September1940 I spoke of Divine Embodiments as the highest type ofAvatar for which humanity could look at this point in itsevolution. I spoke of the activity of the Hierarchy and ofShamballa, should these two divine Agencies decide thatintervention in the form of widespread cataclysm (engulfingall peoples) was necessary.” In 1945, at a time when theenemy’s external threat through Hitler’s armies had just beenaverted, Bailey said that three recognitions must be evidencedby humanity before the year 2025, if the ‘destruction ofmankind is to be averted.’ They are: 1. Recognition of the Christ spirit within. 2. Recognition of the Hierarchy.3. Recognition of the divine Plan.The destruction mentioned here could mean somethinglike the great flood of the last days of Atlantis, although asBailey points out some prophecies say that destruction by fireis also a possibility. “If humanity fails to unite under thebanner of the Forces of Light against the forces of materialaggression and selfishness, then the ‘fiery ordeal’ might beunavoidable.”In 1940 Alice Bailey announced that: “Another andlesser Avatar is also waiting a call form humanity. He isesoterically related to the Avatar of Synthesis, beingovershadowed by Him. This Avatar can descend on to thephysical plane into outer expression and can thus step downand transmit the stimulation and quality of the force of thegreater Avatar Who can come no nearer than the mentalplane. Who this Coming One may be is not yet revealed. Itmay be the Christ, if His other work permits; it may be theOne chosen by Him to issue forth, overshadowed by theAvatar of Synthesis and directed in His activities by theChrist, the Lord of Love.”A few years later Bailey states that the Avatar ofSynthesis would overshadow the Christ, the Manu, andMaster Morya, thus creating “a triangle of energies into which (and through which) the energy of the Avatar of Synthesiscan pour, finding right direction under Their combinedefforts.”The Christ “will come again as the World Saviour, butowing to the stupendous nature of the work ahead, He will(occultly speaking) will be fortified and buttressed by the‘Silent Avatar’ Who (occultly speaking) will ‘keep His eyeupon Him, His hand beneath, and His heart in unison withHis.”In all the religious and esoteric scriptures concerningthe coming Avatar—Buddhist, Hindu, Persian, Christian, andthe Ancient Mysteries—He is depicted as riding a whitehorse. This symbolizes the overshadowing of the lesserAvatar by the greater. H.P. Blavatsky says that Vishnu willreturn on Kalki, the White Horse, the last Avatar. Alice Baileyhints at this interpretation when speaking of the lesser Avatarand the ‘Rider on the White Horse.’ She says that “in anearlier cycle, the then initiates spoke of the ‘sacrificial horse.’According to certain Tibetan myths relating to the comingAvatar, the Horse on which He rides is an incarnation of agreat Bodhisattva. And Edgar Cayce, in his veiled commentary on the Book of Revelations, states that theHorse, which the White Horse Rider rides, is the Christ.In this perhaps another mystery is revealed, the mysteryof why H.P. Blavatsky speaks of the Kalki Avatar, thepowerful warrior who rides on a white horse from Shamballa(1st. ray) and Lord Maitreya (the Christ and the comingBuddha, 2nd Ray) as being the same. Helena Roerich in one ofher letters states that the Kalki/Maitreya is the Lord ofShamballa and the author of the Agni Yoga Books. Thebooks themselves seem to indicate three names as the author,Morya, Maitreya, and Rigden. Rigden is the name or title ofthe kings of Shambhala. It is the last Rigden, Rigden Dragpoor Jyepo also known Kalki Rudracakrin, who according to thehighly esoteric Buddhist scripture, the Kalachakra Tantra, willride forth on a white horse (in some accounts blue) fromShambhala at the end of the Dark Age to destroy the evil inthe world.The Hindu scriptures also say that the Kalki Avatar willcome forth from Shambhala to destroy the evil kings of theworld. Edwin Bernbaum in his fascinating book The Way toShamballa writes: “In the Kalki Purana, a sage King named Maru [Morya], a descendant of an earlier incarnation ofVishnu, lives there in the Himalayas, awaiting the end of theage of discord [Kali Yuga]. When Kalki comes to liberate theworld, this sage will join him in the final battle against thebarbarians. After their victory over the forces of evil, Maruwill gain a throne and assist Kalki in establishing a goldenage.” A similar prophecy can be found in the Vishnu Purana(Book IV, Chapter 4) where it is stated that there was in theSorya Dynasty a king called “Maru, who, through the powerof yoga, is still living in the village called Kalapa,” in theHimalayas and who “in a future age, will be the restorer ofthe Kshatriya race in the solar dynasty.” Kalapa is consideredto be on the northerner side of the Himalayas.St . John the Divine also prophesied the coming of theAvatar in his Book of Revelation:I saw the heavens open and behold a white horse;and He that sat upon him is He who makes faithand knowledge true, and in righteousness he dothjudge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire,and on His head were many crowns; and He had aname written, that no man knew, but He Himself.And He was clothed in a vesture dipped in blood:and his name is called the WORD of God. And outof His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it Heshould smite the nations: and He shall rule themwith a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress ofthe fierceness and wrath of almighty God. And hehath on His vesture and on His thigh a namewritten, ‘King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.’Paul Davidson, in his Book of Light and Life or the Essenceof the Sohar, writes of the obvious similarity between theHindu Kalki Avatar who comes riding a white horse toconquer the forces of evil and the Rider on the white horseof Revelations. He also refers to a similar prophecy from theZend Avesta. “The White Horse upon which Sociosh [the Mazdean saviour] rides, like Vishnu, is the ‘Horse of theSun,’ Shiloh is the Sun’s city, and Sociosh is the GodMessiah, or King coming from the Sun… The Arabsrepresented Iauk (Iach) by a Horse, the Horse of the Sun.”(The Kalachakra also speaks in an esoteric manner of theseven horses of the sun.) H.P. Blavatsky says: Sosiosh is theprototype of “the faithful and the true” of the Revelation, andthe same as Vishnu in the Kalki-Avatara. Both are expected toappear as the Saviour of the World, seated on a white horse andfollowed by a host of spirits or genii, mounted likewise onmilk-white steeds.” Perhaps this means that theovershadowed Lesser Avatars, in their turn, overshadowcertain initiates of their ashrams. Bailey states that this mayindeed be the case. We might note here that Master Morya isalso depicted riding a white horse.The Root Kalachakra Tantra states: “Kalki Rudra,possessed of the Great Wheel, who by skillful speech and thebest of the horse samadhi, will put an end to the barbariandharma.” ‘The best horse samadhi,’ may be an esotericreference to the technique of overshadowing through thepower of yogic meditation. The ‘great wheel’ is oftendepicted in paintings of the Avatar. In that great wordless picture book of the ancientMysteries, The Book of Hermes, the thirteenth hieroglyphdepicts much the same symbolism except that the wheel hasfive spokes rather than eight. Note that the Rider is greeted by the Hierophant, theone who confers initiation into the sacred Mysteries, and thatthe ‘city of Light,’ reminiscent of the ‘New Jerusalem’, lies inthe forward distance or future. The death and destruction implied here pertains to that which is obstructing the naturalcurrents of Evolution.Why is the Avatar needed at this time? Alice Baileyanswers this question: “The separateness of humanity, and itsselfishness, had reached such vast proportions and its effectswere so completely dominated by the forces of evil, that—inresponse to the massed inchoate demand of humanity—theHierarchy called for spiritual interposition. The endlessselfish propaganda, in speech or in writing, most of itmaterialistic, nationalistic and basically untrue and wronglymotivated, became such a clamor that it reached to spheresusually impervious to the sounds of earth; the Avatar ofSynthesis was called in to aid.”21 An ancient Hindu prophecyfrom the Vishnu Purana states that before the Formless Onewill appear, “Wealth will be decreasing day by day until nearlythe whole world will be deprived. Property alone will conferrank. Devotion will be given to wealth alone. Passion will bethe sole bond between the sexes. Falsehood will be the onlysuccessful means of litigation. Women will be merely objectsof sensual gratification. The Earth will be venerated only forits mineral treasures.”When is the Silent Avatar coming? According to boththe Hindu and the Buddhist scriptures22 the Kalki Avatar willcome at the end of the Kali Yuga, the present age of darkness. The divine author of the Agni Yoga Books,reverently called the ‘Teacher,’ says that we are now fastapproaching the end of the Kali Yuga, though as He alsostates the time of this ending really depends to some degreeupon humanity. And in Agni Yoga # 307 we read “The Eastknows the Army of fiery warriors that will arise before thecoming of the New Era.” H.P. Blavatsky also states that weare nearing the end of the Kali Yuga, the Dark Age. KhedrupNorsang Gyatso (1423-1513), a disciple of the 1st Dalai Lamacalculates, from the hints given in the Kalachakra Tantra, thatKalki Rudracakrin will conquer the barbarians in the year2424.23 In June 1943 Alice Bailey wrote; “Ask me not for thedate or the hour, brother of mine, for I know it not.” But“you will know when the Avatar links up with the planetaryLogos because I will then give you the final Stanza of theGreat Invocation.”24 This He did in April of 1945. This ‘link’between the Avatar and the Logos marked the first step toHis manifestation as the World Saviour through thereappearance of the Christ and the externalization of theHierarchy, which is still to come. The externalization of theHierarchy, says Bailey, could begin as early as 2025. According to the Vishnu Purana the Kalki Avatar will“re-establish righteousness upon earth. The minds of thosewho live at the end of the end of age of strife [Kali Yuga]shall be awakened and shall become translucent like crystal.The humans who are thus changed by virtue of that peculiartime shall become the seeds of a new race, who shall followthe laws of the golden age of purity.”What can we do to prepare for this unprecedentedevent? Alice Bailey lists four things:“1. The effort to stand with all other disciples andaspirants in an attempt to call forth the Avatar, to reach Himby focused intensive thought and to evoke His response. Thisis the purpose of the new Invocation.2. Providing a nucleus or group through which theAvatar of Synthesis can work when the lesser Avatar hascome forth upon the physical plane….3. Constructing a network of light and service in everyland….4. Preparing the general public for the ComingOne…”And how long will the Formless One remain? AliceBailey says that the triangle of energies of which the Avatarof Synthesis is a part and the Christ is the center, “will continue for two thousand five hundred years,” or till theend of the Aquarian Age.There is another ancient prophecy preserved in thearchives of the Hierarchy that points to this most stupendousEvent. “When the Avatar has made His appearance, then willthe ‘Sons of men who are now the Sons of Godwithdraw their faces from the shining light andradiate that light upon the sons of men who knownot yet they are the Sons of God. Then shall theComing One [the lesser Avatar] appear, Hisfootsteps hastened through the valley of the shadowby the One of awful power [the Avatar of Synthesis]Who stands upon the mountain top [the highestpoint of the mental plane], breathing out loveeternal, light supernal, and peaceful silent Will.Then will the sons of men respond. Then will anewer light shine forth into the dismal weary vale ofearth. Then will new life course through the veins ofmen, and then will their vision compass all the waysof what may be.So peace will come again on earth, but a peaceunlike aught known before. Then will the will-to good flower forth as understanding andunderstanding blossom as goodwill in men.’* Up from the pit of maya back to the portals ofgold, forth from the gloom and darkness back tothe splendour of day, rideth the ManifestedOne, the Avatar, bearing the shattered Cross.Naught can arrest His return, none can impedeHis Path, for He passeth along the upper way,bearing His people with Him. Cometh thedissolution of pain, cometh the end of strife,cometh the merging of the spheres andblending of the hierarchies. All then is reabsorbed within the orb, the circle of manifestation. The forms that exist in maya,and the flame that devoureth all, are generatedby the One Who rideth the Heavens andentereth into the timeless Aeon.The passage, “He passeth along upper way, bearing Hispeople with Him,” might be illuminated somewhat by thefollowing prophecy given by Bailey: I may point out (even though it is not possible togive more than a hint) that the force of the CosmicTransferrer [the coming Avatar] is being called intoactivity by the transference during this cycle [of thenext 2500 years] of a special group of highlyadvanced units of the human and deva kingdoms(members of the occult Hierarchy) to anotherscheme altogether.Also included in this one great Event is the ‘restorationof the Mysteries,’ (the reappearance upon Earth of theMysteries of Initiation) the initiation of Sanat Kumara, theLord of the World, and the transformation of our sphere intoa ‘Sacred Planet.’“It will be obvious, if you have considered my wordscarefully, that a great spiritual movement is under way—perhaps the greatest of all time!”Aum Svaha!Come forth Oh Mighty One!(by Dorje Jinpa)
