A message of hope, renewal + revival this Christmas

It has been a long time since I wrote a (digital) letter where we have a heart-to-heart. There has been a lot of business, systems and growth stuff, which is not fun but very important as a creative entrepreneur. Now - that's solid set in stone, it's time for the creativity, the art and expression to come out and play again!

This is my first Christmas as a Christian after being an atheist all my life.

How wild is it that I FINALLY get Christmas songs - like understand it?

I went to the church for the first time in my 36 years on this Earth and I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour the same day. Then, I got baptised a month later, in the ocean of Bali - a place where I have called home the past 5 years. Church has been one of my favourite things to attend the past two months!

The biggest and unexpected plot twist of 2024 yet it is the greatest gift I received this year. (Just like all the unconventional + taboo that I speak about - from walking away from a "successful life" to spiritual awakening, sex, money... to openly talk about Jesus was a journey of it's own!)

In an age where the people are yearning for love, for hope, for GOODNESS - I want to remind you of the Goodness of God and most importantly - the goodness of HUMANS.

One of the most beautiful things I received is - the celebration from my community on my decision to become a Christian, to finally make faith the priority of my life, to pursue God. I love that my community are happy for me that I found Jesus - especially as a leader who’s usually the one holding the space.

I want to shed the light of a different dimension of success and what personal brand can really be.

When you built an authentic community and a personal brand by simply being you, your people celebrate with you. It took me 15 years of showing up online, the first decade was surface-level stuff, but they all add up. If you’re just starting or at the beginning - KEEP GOING, keep taking action from FAITH! Even when it feels like no one is watching, you never know how your work has changed other’s life. God IS watching and He has promised you the fruit since He has created you in the womb.

I want to remind you to NOT get caught in the noise and fear of algorithm but fully TRUSTING YOUR MESSAGE, YOUR TRUTH - what is YOURS to share. The very message that’s embedded in YOUR VOICE - a frequency that’s uniquely you! To follow that, to honour that, to show up for that - then the offers, business, marketing, sales, money stuff that flows from that!

LOVE - rEVOLution

In the next year - I will be launching my brand, new podcast - rEVOLution. God gave me the name this week.

I strongly believe the ones like us - the ones who never conform, who broke the mould the day we were born, the ones who ended up leading revolution, creating businesses and stewarding wealth - are the ones with the biggest hearts.

Emotional unavailability or heart of stone - is simply a protection we had and I pray that if that’s where you are - may Jesus fill that hole and soften your heart for you. To FEEL the immense love that is available for you, right now!

rEVOLution is all about love, intimacy + womanhood as a woman of God. The only intention I have for you is to FEEL the love, the magnitude of love within and all around you! This is what I am here for - to be the messenger of Love, of Truth - this is why I write poetries and tell stories. The Power of Love that is grounded, wholesome love that FILLS your heart and entire being!

Not that kind of romantic love, the transient love that's fleeting, that kinda love that Hollywood makes movies about and a drug that our generation and the younger generation are chasing. The yearning for love that we search for as women (and men).

This was my deepest yearning all my life - the "love" that I literally travelled around the world to seek for, I wrote poetry about and performed . I had an entire poetry section, written from the “broken-ness” of my yearning for love, for my “sacred union” and “soul mate” (lols - hi its Jesus I have been looking for!). It was this satiation that cannot be filled no matter how many experiences I have had!

I realised that all the dreams I placed upon my "dream man" is a throne for God and only God.

It was a gaping hole in my heart that only God can fill - and I found it in Jesus. I cannot wait to perform this around the world, turn it into songs and make it the start of every new chapter of my life from here on.

I realised that what I blamed my parents for - the love that I seek - was only meant to be given by God.

God has restored my relationship with my family and it has given me a whole new lens to see and appreciate how Godly my parents are in terms of their character and how they raised me. Yes, there were the emotional neglect and needs that weren't met (Hi - where my Asian homies at) but they really gave me everything and the best in their human capability. It was the healing that no other plant medicine or modalities could have ever done! I am so grateful that I get to show up differently and being able to do that whilst they are still alive and healthy. This is a privilege that I get to have.

I will be unveiling and share my story of how it all unfolds. From kink that unlocks my power (or so I thought) to plant medicine THEN, the celibacy that I’ve chosen (really God was nudging) what intended to be a year became 3. And it ALL finally makes sense. In the past 5 years, I have a relationship with a greater power and God. Up until November 2024, it has always been a matter of trying to understand God through my personal experiences. Buddhist by birth, atheist by choice to now converted to Christian - everything changes, yet nothing changes.

it's time to have your eyes set on WHAT'S TO COME + don't look back!

I think it is important to acknowledge that life change us. The last 4 years have broken transformed us in ways that beyond our comprehension, but God is simply preparing us, developing character for what's for us.

Not just the successes, the highs, the lows - but the dreams that no longer are, the dreams that die when a part of our identity die, the dreams that never came true no matter how hard we try.

Sometimes, we get too stuck in the past, in a phase of life that was only meant to be a chapter, a season. That we miss the true calling, the wave from God of where He promises us.

The promise that’s beyond our wildest imagination and what He has asked us to let go of and walk away from.

Here’s a Truth: you gotta walk away from the good, to be taken into the great.

And there's NO better time then now and the next week to REALLY prepare yourself in this gentle transition.

GENTLENESS - another gift I received from God, and something that's VERY new in my life. :)

This is what I hope for you - to activate your vision, to reconnect to that calling, to what you are here for.

As I connect to the core of why I write, share and speak - it is to touch the heart of millions, to know that you are not alone on your path. May this email serves as a warm hot chocolate that fills your heart!

ON THE BUSINESS END:

I believe that to live out our highest destiny as God’s children and as an image of God is to CREATE. I lost connection to the creative energy for such a long time. It was the first of how I truly experienced God - and it is still my favourite way to allow Holy Spirit to move me.

To activate that vision in my heart - the seed that God has planted. What a great time to come alive!
