Message from the Superintendent: Moving Forward
December 4, 2020
As we move into the last two weeks of instruction before Winter Break, I want to express my great appreciation for the parents, staff, and students of Fayette County Public Schools. Your resilience, creativity, and fortitude are to be commended and celebrated.
Remember these words from Henry Ford as you finish out this semester strong:
"If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.”
As your superintendent, I challenge you to keep moving forward. Virtual students, please continue to log in to Clever, Canvas, and Seesaw daily to complete your assignments. In-person students, please be sure to attend school and log in to Canvas and Seesaw regularly. As always, remember to practice COVID-19 protocols daily to ensure good health for our FCPS family.
Wear your mask.
Practice social distancing.
Frequently wash your hands for 20 seconds.
Stay healthy, stay safe,
Dr. Versie R. Hamlett
