Dear Fayette County Public Schools Families, Students, and Staff,? ? ? ?
I would like to give a special thank you to MSgt Barron Hall and the Fayette-Ware Comprehensive High School NJROTC for the special recognition and honor during our First Annual Military Ball on Saturday, May 4. It was a truly wonderful event that I am proud to have been part of.
During the school board meeting on Thursday, May 2, we proudly acknowledged and celebrated the achievements of the Fayette-Ware and West Junior High boy's basketball teams. It is truly inspiring to witness such dedication and success among our young student-athletes, and it is a testament to their hard work and commitment. The School Board also acknowledged the work of the Assistant to the Director of Schools and School Board Secretary, Mrs. Gennette Malone, who retired on May 1 after forty-two years of dedicated service to Fayette County Public Schools.

I am thrilled to congratulate Mrs. Jen Kee on her selection as the WREG Tennessee Lottery Educator of the Week! It is truly gratifying to witness educators like Mrs. Kee receive well-deserved recognition for their exceptional dedication and hard work. Her accomplishments are a source of pride for our district and the entire school community at Buckley-Carpenter Elementary School.
