A message from our team
Over the past twenty-five years, guard.me has been there to support students and institutions no matter the situation.
?
As an active participant in the international education community, we stay true to our commitment to providing solutions that make a difference in people's lives.
?
Guard.me has been a long supporter of local campus food banks over the years. In 2023 , we partnered with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to raise awareness around the growing issue and collected donations.
?
In 2024, we have several amazing partnerships that will enhance our community impact. One of these partnerships, focused on student housing availability, is with SpacesShared , a homesharing program that pairs students with older adults. This is a community effort that has benefits for both sides and helps students feel more comfortable while navigating a new country. It also provides seniors with help around the home and companionship. Truly, a meaningful connection for both parties and a wonderful solution to this rising concern.
?
If you want to chat about ideas that could improve the international student experience, let us know in the comments. We'd love to hear from you.
