A Message from Our CEO: Reflecting on a Remarkable Q1 and Looking Ahead

As we wrap up Q1, I want to take a moment to say thanks to the team and share some significant milestones and updates from Primal. This quarter has been nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing the power of innovation, hard work, and the relentless commitment of our team. Together, we’ve not only met, but exceeded expectations, setting new benchmarks for excellence in our industry.?

This quarter’s 34% year-on-year growth and surpassing our EBITDA targets are clear indicators of our strong performance and strategic direction. These achievements are a direct result of the dedication and passion of our incredible team, both here in the UK and across our international partnerships. Our collective efforts have expanded our global footprint and strengthened the Primal brand, and for that, I am profoundly thankful.?

Our team’s growth is a key highlight of this quarter, with seven new members joining us. The expansion reflects not only our business growth but also our commitment to bringing in fresh talent and expertise to drive our future success.?

Our latest product innovations are a testament to our ongoing mission to deliver the best. The Performance Series Competition Sled, now upgraded to meet Hyrox competition specifications, is a prime example of how we’re pushing the boundaries in high-intensity training. We’ve also made significant improvements to our Performance Series Customisable Steel Dumbbells, enhancing their reliability to meet the demanding needs of a high traffic gym floor.?

Additionally, our new Max Grip Handles, Performance Series EZ Supercurl Bar, sleek Performance Series Progress Pattern Limited Edition Bumpers, and Performance Series Throwing and Strongman Sandbags all showcase our product versatility and performance.?

Finally, we’ve loaded up our line-up with more plate-loaded machines, built to endure 24 hour commercial facility use. The Performance Series Standing Hamstring Curl, Power Squat, and Front Pull Down feature robust, laser-cut frames with higher weight capacities—perfect for advanced lifters while also accommodating those just starting their fitness journey.?

Beyond these product advancements, we've successfully completed several high-profile gym installations that truly highlight our expertise. The Major TV Show Home Gym Installation has brought substantial attention to our brand, and projects like the Studio in Wales, City Fit in Brentford, Train West Kingsdown, and Marleybone PT in London, as well as upgraded platforms at Energie Fitness in Inverurie, reflect our commitment to quality and innovation. Our work at Physique Pro Gym is another standout, blending functionality with cutting-edge design. We're also proud to announce our new key account with Total Fitness, further expanding our reach.

In addition to these successes, our international business has also taken off, further strengthening our brand and extending our reach into new markets. This global expansion showcases our growing influence and reinforces our reputation for excellence on an international scale.?

I’m also pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our new 54,000 square foot warehouse, a significant upgrade from our current 29,000 square foot facility. The new warehouse will feature a much higher ceiling, with an apex of 12 meters compared to our current 7 meters. This expansion will greatly enhance our logistics capabilities and operational efficiency, supporting our continued growth. A special thanks to the full team, including James, whose hard work and invaluable experience are making this a reality.?

As we continue to innovate, we are already testing new products that will be introduced soon. These developments will further expand our offerings and continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.?

We are approaching our busiest time of the year - Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year - and I have full confidence in PRIMAL’s ability to rise to the occasion. Reflecting on this past quarter, it’s clear that our collective effort and unwavering passion are driving us toward even greater success.?
