A Message From Ian Charlebois On COVID-19

To our valued employees and clients, 

As owner and founder of a real estate brokerage in Ottawa I write this heart felt message to you in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a small business owner, I share the fear of uncertainty that the next few weeks and or months will bring. 

As you know, for all different reasons, many of our clients are in a position where they intend to sell, buy or fund a mortgage in 2020. For this reason, we have continued our day to day operations so we will continue to offer all of our selling advantages with slight adjustments.

On the Real Estate and Mortgage side… 

• Hand washing stations prior to entering homes.
• We are using disposable gloves when requested.
• No open houses.
• Screening all interactions to ensure no travelling or sick individuals are present in person.

On the Corporate side… 

• We will guarantee there will be zero job losses’ or laid off employees, irrelevant of the time it takes to pass.
• Every single supplier will be paid on the 10th, or 25th of each month in full. This will not change for a period of 5 years effective immediately.
• Our offices & staff will continue to operate 7 days a week, although employees must work remotely until further notice.
• All on-going projects, such as our west end rental duplex and the IAN CHARLEBOIS Glebe Garage Sale Free BBQ will be funded.

I will also take this time to reach out to anyone who’s interested in volunteering their time to do drop offs. Our Charlebois Community Cruiser is readily available for anyone who wishes to take action in their community and requires a reliable vehicle for transportation. I will cover all expenses for the next six months to whomever wishes to present the best plan of action. 

These three actions alone will inject close to half a million dollars into the construction industry and our great Ottawa community within the next ten months.
