A message from a great CEO and brilliant lady

I was raised Republican and voted Republican for many years.

In 1992, I strongly felt we had to elect a Democratic president to counter the deleterious policies of the Republican presidents over the past 12 years which resulted in skyrocketing federal deficits, dismantling of the mental healthcare system (with the burden now falling on our over-stretched police departments), cutting off the budding clean energy initiatives (Reagan said the results wouldn't make an impact while he was alive) and the crazy high inflation of the 1980's.

On November 3, 1992, I went into labor with my first son. On the way to the hospital, as the contractions were coming faster and faster, I had to stop at the polling place to vote for President Clinton. My beautiful baby boy arrived 4 hours later.

The next 8 years with a Democratic president saw a federal surplus, a booming economy, and so many advances in technology, healthcare, quality of life, RBG, and more.

Please, there is NO excuse not to go vote and stand up for what this country needs and to leave a better world for our children. And it won’t happen with Trump in office for 4 more years.

1) Trump wants to dismantle the Affordable Care Act (taking away protection from 133 million Americans with pre-existing conditions & outright open marketplace insurance from 20 million Americans). Almost 4 years later, and not the tiniest glimpse of the "better" replacement Trump has promised. Give us the Trump/Republican replacement before taking away what we have!!

2) Trump wants to take away women's rights over their own bodies. Republicans support de-regulation for almost everything especially financial, but want to regulate women's choices about her body.

3) Trump wants to shut down efforts to battle climate change (resulting in more wildfires, more hurricanes, more extinct animal species) so that big businesses can make more money.

4) Trump has not and does not want to unite the country behind scientist/healthcare leaders to fight the biggest crisis this country has faced in our lifetime (under the guise of freedom). >200,00 Americans dead already. What about the freedom for your friends and neighbors to live a healthy life and not catch the lethal Covid virus?

5) Trump calls our American veterans who were injured or died in the line of duty “suckers” and “losers”. These honorable men & women were protecting America, while he evaded service with “bone spurs”.

6) Trump wants to take away the protection of the law to treat all human beings with compassion and to tear children away from their parents, simply because they want a better life. How many Americans are here because their families were immigrants looking for a better life? EVERYONE except Native Americans.

There is SO MUCH at stake. Please VOTE Biden/Harris - Leaders who care about all Americans.
