Tips for Artists
Who of you would reserves a table in a well-known restaurant, orders his/her favourite items on the menu, enjoys the well prepared meals and drinks, appreciates the excellent service as well enjoys a wonderful chatting evening, then leaves without paying the bill??
In the same manner, why would any artist, reserves a space in a well-known exhibition, get promoted, get his/her artwork seen by many, make new connections and probably new clients or potential buyers and make new friends, then leaves without paying for such well-prepared exhibition that cost thousands and thousands of dollars not mentioning thousands of hours spent??
If you believe that you are above and beyond paying to exhibit your artwork then, stay independent by means of organizing your own exhibitions, promoting yourself, making your own clients or finding a sponsor who believes in the worthiness of your artwork. In nutshells, you may have these choices:?
1- Be part of the whole.
2-Be independent and leave others to decide for themselves.
3- Promote yourselves, yet it won't be equal to nevertheless will loo professional as having an expert to prompt you.
4-Organize you own exhibitions and make your won clients and contacts.
5-Find sponsors to accommodate the cost of your exhibitions!

6-Exhibit with galleries who charge you between 45%-80% on each artwork sold, yet that would be way over charging!
7- Hire an art dealer, a coach or an art agent to handles your business yet, result is not guaranteed.
8-Stay in your studio, keep creating artwork, enjoy it and expect nothing or hope for the best.?
In other words, count the pros and the cons?to consider carefully, so that you may make a sensible decision. Nonetheless, acting as a victim and as if art organizers are after your wallets, what do you actually say about yourself??
As I am not an art organizer but merely, speaking facts and reality. In general,?Art organizers put forth immense efforts to open international opportunities for you. Again, the choice is yours.
