Dear MESA Family & Friends,


Last year MESA piloted a post-secondary success program for their alumni. Over the course of 3 cohorts of MESA alum we have been able to place 70% of our former students in high playing workforce programs or re-enrolled in college.

Our Alumni Lab is a six-week program where participants are paid a $500 stipend to attend group sessions. “In leading workshops, MESA teachers emphasize trial and error to counter the narrative that young people have to know exactly what they want to do by 20 (The74million.org, Murdock)”

We are honored that The 74 Media highlighted our program in their?Innovative High Schools stories.?

Thank you to all the hard work and dedication of our staff and alumni who have participated in the “13th grade” initiative. MESA’s Alumni Lab is dedicated to ensuring that NY youth no longer feel lost.
