Merry Christmas to you all. It's my 9 year work anniversary. Here's what I know so far...

This time next year i'll have been here Jibba Jabba a whole decade! 

I've not worked at too many places as i've been lucky enough to have worked for 7 + years for the few i've been in. Each place has had its positives but I can honestly say this is far and away my favourite. The extra work I do with DRFC on matchdays now too helping the press has been a nice perk especially in the last few months, to get a 'live' football fill in all this current madness.

I've seen a quite a few people move on to new roles or start their own businesses from been here, but I can't think of any that we would of been better off without, each and every one of them have helped Jibba Jabba grow into what it is today!

The main reason for that is the boss, Ashley Harris. 

Those of you that know him, will know that he works 24/7 and doesn't ever seem to stop. 

He always make sure everyone in the team is ok, and if not he will always be around to help however he can.

He can get stressed - a lot ?? -But that's because he is so passionate about his, and our teams work. 

He loves tech and is always looking for the next big thing. Never one to go with the small option, he went and built a whole WiMax broadband network across Yorkshire and Humberside, using towers and old radio masts to relay it.

There are so many more things I could write here, but I'll end with this:

He isn't just a boss to us all, he's a good friend and mentor and always cares about the team and will always bring everyone together, which more than ever in the time, we find ourselves in, is refreshing to have. Just someone who always has your back.

So here is to hopefully another 10 good years plus with Jibba Jabba enjoying work and many laughs along the way with good friends!

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
