The festive jumpers, secret Santa’s and Christmas do’s are in full swing as we approach the big day. But before we all take some well-deserved time off with family and friends, we’d like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to our customers, manufacturing partners and suppliers for your continued custom and support, and to the VPS team for keeping industry flowing for another year!

This month’s Process Post includes an introduction to the new and improved Atomac AKH3.2, a reminder of our opening hours over the Christmas period and if you’re looking for a new job in the new year, we might have the role for you.

The Atomac AKH3 gets an upgrade

Flowserve recently launched the new and improved Atomac AKH3.2 PFA lined ball valve, which they have been transitioning to from the AHK3 since October this year.

The Atomac AKH3.2 has been re-engineered for greater reliability and reduced fugitive emissions. But that’s not all, let’s take a look at some of the new features…

• New interchangeable design can be configured in either monobloc or floating configuration
• Interlocking metal-to-metal body seal and live-loaded packing eliminates inline adjustments
• Metal-to-metal body joint creates a maintenance-free body and sidepiece connection
• Modular design reduces lead times from the factory
• Enhanced liner retention promotes reliability and reduces costly valve failures
• Fugitive Emissions compliance and certification to ISO 15848 1 and API 641

New year, new job?

Due to another successful year, we're on the look-out for a new Internal Sales Team Member to join the VPS team.

You’ll get involved with all aspects of sales from understanding our customers and potential customers' needs, to preparing quotations and providing technical information and product support.
