Highlights from 2023

Dot Group's DataSprint service emerged as a game-changer in the media industry. For FooEngine, a trailblazer in cloud-based media logistics, DataSprint became the go-to solution for its robust, secure, and cost-effective content delivery.Pip Studios, renowned for its cutting-edge immersive audio post-production, seamlessly integrated DataSprint to manage large-scale, secure content transfers from global production hubs.Meanwhile, Molinare, a titan in London's post-production scene, adopted DataSprint for its unmatched reliability and efficiency in handling extensive media files

The Dot Group team were busy showcasing their expertise at tradeshows and other industry events throughout the year. Our presence at IBC2023 was a particular highlight, where we shared the latest in our IBM Aspera and DataSprint solutions as well as discussing our role in sustainability and ESG reporting. At the Media Production & Technology Show, we showcased the efficient and secure DataSprint service. A proud moment was our gold sponsorship at the Informatica World Tour London, emphasising our expertise in cloud data management.

We also enjoyed being part of networking events such as the DPP Leaders' Briefing and the KitPlus Show in London. A special mention goes to our sponsorship at the Televisual Summer Fete, where we contributed a half crate of champagne for the raffle.

Our participation in all these events is important not only to connect with customers and partners old and new but also to keep up to date with the latest issues our clients are faced with so we can continue turning your most complex data challenges into data opportunities thereby helping you to drive better profitability.

We also participated in a number of webinars - hosting a series ourselves discussing the transition from Faspex 4 to Faspex 5. As IBM will terminated support for Faspex 4 on 30th September 2023, we have been helping?users to migrate to Faspex 5, the future-proof platform with enhanced security and seamless integration capabilities.

And we?also hosted a round table with DAMA and the Bank of Ireland discussing the importance of thinking sustainably and how to manage the?data requirements of ESG reporting.
