Seriously, I appreciate oats as much as the next guy but this is ridiculous. As a dairy farm kid, oat nog is a personal affront to me and an insult to the cows! ?
Please on behalf of the Holsteins, don’t serve oat nog this holiday. Leave the oats where God intended - granola bars, cereal, and horse feed!?
The Christmas Star
My brothers and I hung a Christmas star on our farm’s cement stave silo from 1978 until the silo was torn down in 2016. Actually, the star came crashing down along with the silo almost unscathed. It now hangs on my brother Eric’s barn - not nearly as high as the 60 foot silo but it’s shining bright nonetheless. I get a bit nostalgic, which is why our tree is decorated with a farm ornament with a star shining overhead. ?
