Tapestry Inc.?has made its move — now chief executive officer Joanne Crevoiserat just has to stick the landing.

In a high-wire act that promises to remake the American fashion landscape,?Tapestry Inc.?cut a deal to buy?Capri Holdings?at a valuation of $8.5 billion, bringing together the Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands with Capri’s Michael Kors,?Versace?and Jimmy Choo.?

The?combined company?will have more than $12 billion in sales, with particular strength in the accessible luxury category with Coach and Michael Kors under one roof, as well as deep expertise and exposure to the handbag category and a growing luxury standout with?Versace.?

Nensi Dojaka,?winner of the LVMH Prize?for Young Designers in 2021, is among a cohort of London-based emerging fashion designers who created bespoke outfits for?Zendaya’s latest Smartwater campaign.

Aaron Esh, Conner Ives, Chet Lo and Di Petsa also created bespoke looks for the "Euphoria" star as part of a partnership with the British Fashion Council's talent support platform Newgen.

Amyris Files for Chapter 11?Bankruptcy

Amyris, a onetime biotech darling that sought to change the beauty industry with innovative and sustainable ingredients and later moved into the celebrity brand world, has filed for Chapter 11?bankruptcy?in a Delaware Court and is looking to off-load its consumer arm.?

The announcement comes just a few days after it shuttered three brands — Costa Brazil with former Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa, Onda?Beauty?cofounded by Naomi Watts and Purecane — and terminated 260 positions, a rep confirmed.?

The fundraiser will be held on Oct. 4 at Nya Studios in Hollywood, helping to expand mental health awareness and services through her beauty company Rare Beauty.

Titled “A Night of Radiance & Reflection,” the event will take place at Nya Studios in Hollywood. Gomez will host 350 guests, with an appearance by her “Only Murders in the Building” costar, Emmy-winning actor Martin Short, and Grammy-nominated music producer Marshmello.?
