Mercury Medical Pays Special Tribute to Employees!

Every month Mercury Medical’s President and CEO, Dr. John Gargaro, recognizes employees’ birthdays and work anniversaries during an employee meeting assembly that includes Cake. During this celebration we also feature a presentation on how our products and culture at Mercury Medical reflect our Mission statement:

“Dedicated to delivering clinically differentiated critical care technology that saves lives throughout the world.”?

During April’s event, we had a surprise guest appearance from past SNL host Steve Jobs, (alias Tim Gargaro, CFO). Steve paid special tribute to individual department employees that go above and beyond their responsibilities with “Special Recognition” Awards. He also presented a short video outlining the incredible transformation of Mercury’s corporate headquarters with before and after photos of the building renovations project headed by award recipient Kelly Jo Catterton, Facilities Manager, (pictured below). Congratulations to all the employees who received these very special awards.

Dr. Gargaro presented a special tribute to the Employee of the Year, former Senior VP and current Board member, Eva Victorio, with the first annual “Nancy K. Tangalakis Lifetime Achievement Award.”

This award is bestowed upon a special recipient who reflects the strength, vision and resilience of our corporate founder, Stanley G. Tangalakis’s life coach, partner and wife Nancy who supported and inspired Stan and everyone who knew her.
